I feel really safe with my choice now once it arrives - none of the SAs mentioned that the lambskin versions were specially treated for durability, but that's my fault for not asking, honestly! Usually I'd buy directly from the shop with advice but I've been travelling and seeing family recently - holidays, you know - and the Black Friday run-up sales were too good to miss and why not treat myself to something beautiful after a tough year. My 19 the seams are hide on the side too and hardly noticeable. I hope they exchange it for you. I wonder if Chanel still have a quality control department.
Hi there. I never paid attention to mine so you got me curious. I just pulled out mine to look and my 19 does not have a fold in the middle. It's on the side and it is barely noticeable. Here is a pic of mine (the front and back of chain). I purchased my 19 in large (also referred to as medium) in lambskin from the Chanel boutique in 2019

Stunning bag. How do you like the size? I’m torn between the large size and the small size for an every day wear to work purse.
The large barely fits my stuff but I still really like it. The maxi is a much better size capacity wise for me but I didn't like how heavy it is. It really depends on how much you usually carry!

Another Chanel 19 related question I'm afraid. Is anyone able to help with info on the chain length on the large 19 (30cm) please. I have seen conflicting articles online which say that the strap drop is 20inches or 18 inches. I'm wondering if there are different variants? Any help would be much appreciated and sorry if i have posted this in the wrong place. Thank you.

Hi, I have large C19 and mine is even less than 18 inches. I bought it new in Saks, not preloved. It could be that sometimes people refer to medium as large, not sure. I think strap on the medium is longer than the one on the large.

Hi, yes I see what you mean. I don't know tgh. But I probably wouldn't rely much on such pictures though. Some pics are zoomed in more than others, or the model is not posing the same. I guess best just to compare bag straps on the bags/in person or maybe some youtube videos out there that can be help.Hi,

Long time lurker - but wanted to share my new purchase! I’m a silver girl so was so excited to finally find a Chanel 19 with the top handle chain in silver! Now worried if I will be able to keep it clean!!
