Quick sizing question! I've scrolled about 50 pages of this thread before calling it quits but is there a significant size difference between m and l? I tried on both, loved both, but only have room for one. My current everyday bag is Lv pochette metis, and I'd love the 19 to replace it. I really do not carry much (long wallet, airpods, chapstick, phone). Would a medium with an organizer inside fit my items comfortably? I'd also like to carry my ipad- for travel, so not often or long term. Would the large be better worth my money? Again, ipad carrying would be maybe 4-5x a year. My pochette metis does not fit my ipad so usually I swap bags to travel but I'm hoping this 19 would truly be my everyday bag. Thanks in advance!
If you like the look of both, then why not have the option for an extra space? You never know when you might need that extra space. I also like both sizes but currently have the large in my collection. HTH
Your 19 looks goregous! You wear it well! I have one as well but ordered a large (the boutique called it medium) so I did not see it in person until it arrived and no way was I not going to take it as it was so hard to get one then (I got mine in 2019). I would have gotten your size if I knew small really wasn't small amd "medium" was really a large. Hahaha. Anyway, not complaining! I still like mine! Lol.
Actually, btw functionality n durability, LV pochette Metis which is canvas material can carry more stuff, n on longer term daily basis certainly won't show up wear n tear as quickly as Chanel 19. I own 3 Chanel 19 in small size n I definitely baby them . If u put in too many stuff in the bag it can cause the flap to " wing out" due to the structure n design of the bag. It's the CC turnlock that is holding on to all the weight which can cause a strain n the flap will warped up losing the bag's structure
Thanks for the input! I carry close to nothing so my lv after 5+ years still looks brand new. Just 1 long wallet, cellphone, airpods. The winging out sides was definitely something i considered. The only downside, which is hardly really a downside, is my lv doesnt fit my ipad which i want to travel with a few times a year.
This is absolutely stunning! I carry very little daily, so if I got a large would having all that empty space also jeopardize the structure of the bag? As in, would it look a little flat and funny while I'm carrying it? I'd love to carry my ipad in it a few times a year but as far as day to day goes it'd be 1 long wallet, cellphone, airpods.
I carry little to nothing lol. I only carry my Cc card holder, cellphone (mostly on my hands) sometimes I would quick place in the back packet. Sometimes, I might add my LV toiletry 15 with a mask inside, Kleenex, a cc mirror and maybe a lipstick or two. Sometimes it’s fully empty just with my card holder. I hardly ever carry house keys or car keys (depending on the car, if I am with hubby etc., also I don’t use house keys to get inside my home). Now, last year unexpectedly my daughter ended up getting in and out of hospitals for about three months straight, and I didn’t even think about switching my handbag, I used the 19 full of everything I needed to take with me. Trust me, you never know when you need that extra space! I do want to mention that all my other bags from Chanel and other brands are small and minis, so maybe that’s why it worked out for me. As per the jeopardizing the structure of the bag, I have recently purchased the bag shapers and since day one I carried it with an organizer inside. To be quite honest, over the years I have learned to enjoy my bags and worry less about the wear and tear, I do try to take care of them but I am not as obsessed I used to be . I can take a picture later for you when I get home with minimal items inside, and send it to you via message. I am out now with another handbag

Well this isn’t a flap, but can I get opinions?
It's beautiful. I like it quite a bit and how functional it is. Do you use a base shaper or an insert?
Does anyone here have the sequin editions? Considering buying a mint one, would love to hear some thoughts on it
