My first Chanel 19 in classic black 
I think the price is about the same - but beware - Fashionphile is listing some of the 19 bags that have the gold plate inside and no authenticity card as GOATSKIN - the plate started in spring of 2021 and all the 19s since then are LAMBSKIN! - you can even tell their lambskin as they are not wrinkled. I called them about it about 8 months ago and they assured me I was right and that they have were so sorry and she would make their team aware of the fact - but still they have not corrected their errors.
My favorite Chanel bag. You'll love her. She's a beauty.
TPF'ers I have a problem with the Chanel 19 strap slipping off my shoulder, works fine when crossbody but when wearing it on one shoulder it just slides....any workarounds?
I bought my 19 in June 2021 - I,too, cannot keep the strap on my shoulder. I am going to try to keep bending it to make it soften but with the chain on the top I don’t think it will work. Many say they have no problem but I have more of a slope shoulder so that could add to the problem too. I do like it crossbody as mine has about a 20 -21 inch drop. I heard the new ones have a shorter chain?
I don’t think it’s a sole 19 issue. My classic flap slides off my shoulder too. As does my leather strap soho disco! It’s just my shoulder shape I suppose!
Hmmm...not sure about that. My other Chanel and LV bags stay put just fine....
The shoulder strap is pretty smooth and I guess the weight of the chains could be pulling it down.
I have place Purse Gummy (you can find on Amazon) on my 19 leather part of the shoulder strap and it works like a charm to prevent the strap from sliding off my shoulder.
What a great solution! I am going to look into that myself! I sold bags due to that issue. Lol. Oh well.
I have long hair, and I have Purse Gummy on a different bag. One thing I noticed is that, if your hair gets caught under the Purse Gummy, OMG, bye bye hair, and it's painful!
Hello Ladies! If you have the small 19 in Caramel (21P), could you please tell me if it's easy to coordinate? It looks like a neutral color that will go with any other colors. But more suitable with lighter colors or brown based outfit? Do you think it goes well also with bolder colors, like red, brighter pink, brighter blue, etc...? TIA!
