A bag insert should help. I like using the organizer although it will take some space but it definitely helps maintain the overall shape in the long run. HTH!

Is there anyone who really loves and uses their Chanel 19 large flap? I got the large flap and beginning to regret it because it seems a bit large for me.
I've read / watched a few reviews online and it seems quite a few people have sold their large for the small. To be honest, I got the large because I wanted a big enough bag like a kindle, small water bottle / water bottle, o case, small wallet and a few other things. I also thought that the large would be good for business travel (I could even put in a small scarf). The small really didn't fit everything. But now I'm feeling a bit of regret now that I am seeing everyone selling their large or saying how they prefer the small. I'm a bit annoyed at myself because I had the choice of the small AND the large at the boutique and I chose the large.
Anyone else prefer large over small?

I have the large as well for the same reasons. It’s really functional and lightweight.
I’ve often felt regret for not buying the small…but I looked in my cupboard and there are other bags that can fill this “gap”. I hope this helps!
It’s not a design flaw imo. It’s made to be a slouchy bag. A bag organizer will make it more structured but keep in mind it’s supposed to be slouchy bag. The weigh of the chains and items put in (not the amount) is also what makes the sides wing out. I only have smalls and my chains can be heavy so I’d imagine with large the chains are heavier.
I started my Chanel 19 collection with the medium(smaller size). At that time I thought it was the perfect size. But it didn’t hold everything that I wanted to carry (scarf, gloves, DH glasses). Since I’ve gotten the large, I haven’t used my medium size since. It might be because they are different colors, but I don’t find the large too big, even when it isn’t holding a lot of things. I prefer it actually.
Hi. Chanel newbie here. I picked up this small Chanel 19 today. I noticed that it’s cinched on the side, and has 2 separate compartments inside. Is this new? I noticed that everyone else’s Chanel 19 are different from mine and only has 1 compartment. 
i was thinking just that too. i have much smaller chanel bags but i don't have a bag this size. i realise this bag really shines when you're out and about and wearing it cross body.
thank you! if the side flaps didn't wing out i would love it much more. i really don't feel like i put alot of stuff in - not anything more than i would put in my 226... we'll see maybe when my bag organiser comes it'll help to distribute the weight a little more evenly.. thank you!!
A 226 is structured and the large 19 is not. The large 19s that I’ve seen seem to have more slouch to it than the smalls. Hopefully your organizer help.
This is my small black with organizer. It’s filled with my lv pouchette, victorine wallet, keys, card holder, AirPods, mint and hand sanitizer. My sides are not winging out.

I just got another Chanel 19 large last week after I sold one a year ago because I thought it was too big and I’m only 5’3”. I currently have 2 Chanel 19 small with me and I think sometimes they are too small. For one, they can’t fit a normal size iPad which is a nice thing to have when you have to run errands with a 3 year old.
I would style my 19 large as I do with my Balenciaga City or Proenza Schouler PS1 Medium. I think it looks nice/ edgy when slouchy and carried by hand.
In summary, Chanel 19 size medium and large serve different purposes for me and I like them both.
I’ve never seen this bag before. It’s gorgeous! But definitely different from thr regular 19 small size. I’m now intrigued! Where did you get it?
