I am a metal detecting enthusiast. I mostly do beach and underwater detecting, but yesterday this little guy popped up in my scoop. It's tested positive for 18k gold, but I'm not sure about the branding. It was about 8" deep, so it could've been lost for a while.

Can someone please help me to authenticate?

I highly doubt anyone can tell you for certain based on one photo, especially in the case of Cartier where there are so many replicas (some of which are extremely convincing).
