I noticed that too! I was even more excited when I noticed the necklaces were called "starter" necklaces. Starter to what?!?! Charms?!? Yes please!:party:

Thank you so much for the heads-up! I nabbed the Pug as well but he was the only one. The mini charms are very, very similar to Fossil charms both in size and detail it looks like and the Sugar Skull charm says it's full sized but it looks weird to me and smaller than the other two. I hope their design team didn't leave/were let go, they were on a real roll with awesome charms.

I ordered the mini and regular cupcake because I love cupcakes! I'll post comparison pics when they get here!

So this is the skinny from the JC phone rep:

He said that new Juicy Couture (ABG) did not take any of the merchandise left from old JC (Fifth & Pacific) as part of the agreement. Everything they will be producing now is from their own company. It is up to old JC to get rid of the items produced prior to June 30th. This includes those last few charms that some us missed. It will be interesting to see where they show up....I'm assuming Ross, Marshall's, TJMaxx, Amazon, Shopbop, etc. This seems further supported by the fact that the new charms released yesterday have a different numbering system. No more YJRU's!!!

He said the upload is going slow because they are just now importing from overseas and it takes time to get things through customs, etc so they can't upload it to the website until it is in their US warehouses for shipment. The CS reps don't know whats coming until it gets here. He did confirm they will be opening new stores next year but only in MAJOR markets like New York, Miami, LA, Vegas, etc. He seemed really vague about Kohl's as if they are keeping them totally separate. He said he didn't know much about it and what is available to buy there is most likely not what will be available online. The new JC does own the overseas stores but he didn't really know how that would work in terms of new and old merchandise.


I found this information kind of cool....they are already working on production for next summer. He said most retailers are already done with designs almost a year in advance and production about 6 months prior to release. Which makes total sense to me when I think of charms in the past. The pug showed up on Poshmark about 6 months ago as did the basket cobra (which I now think will show up). The Christmas preassembled bracelet showed up on Instagram in July well before the release date. This explains why old JC was still releasing merchandise at the very end. It was produced months ago. They most likely stopped production of all items shortly after the sale so the merchandise we saw in stores was already produced just moving out of warehouses and onto the sales floor.

I've been thinking of getting the Sugar Skull charm! Does it look smaller in person? I've just seen it online and now I'm reluctant to purchase. I'm hoping the charms go to TJ and all those places, I've been out of the charm game for a while and missed a few I would love to acquire!

Grrr, was hoping that patriotic heart would be on the updated website. Oh well.

For the lucky horn, do you mean the cornucopoia? And I will have to see if I can find my movie reel charm box.
