Lol. So I've heard. I'll let you know if I ever make it to the Niagara Falls on the Canadian side
The seller just wrote
"I SHIPPED THE ITEM AND WAS FLAGGED AND HELD BY CUSTOMES SO THEREFORE I LOST OUT ON MY SALE"
She didn't even provide a tracking number.
Ouch! Did you pay for express shipping? ASOS is usually pretty great, except for this one time I bought multiple items from them and they upgraded my shipping to express with UPS and I got nailed with $283 on a $500 purchase. Crazy right?
Thanks, I'll go to my bank and ask them about it. I'm afraid they won't be able to help me with this situation as I "authorized" the payment.
When you can save money here and there, why not?
I would just keep calling eBay and asking to speak with supervisors until you get some assistance. What the seller is saying doesn't make any sense - why would she lose out on her sale?
Let's just imagine that she did actually send the bag, and customs did actually flag it - what did they flag it for?? Devaluing it? She might get fined, and you might get charged a higher duty, BUT if she participated in devaluing the bag, why would eBay side with her if you both committed the fraud?
ETA: AND if she knows they flagged, where's the tracking information or documentation showing that? Surely if she provided it, eBay would have it as part of the claim, no?
