I finally have the replacement luggage tag and loop I ordered but have never owned any luggage pieces from Vuitton before and am unsure I have these things fastened correctly. Any help would be appreciated. The luggage tag came fastened how I have it, where it passes through both metal parts before selecting a hole at the desired length; however this leaves a little tail sticking out - is this how it is supposed to be?

Then this extra leather loop on the back of the luggage loop is throwing me...it seems like the loop is too tight/small if you pass it through that loop prior to going through the metal part. When I bypass it completely, it seems like the appropriate size options the loop should have, but then what is the supposed function of that extra leather loop on the back!?

Hi everyone. I’m looking to purchase my first Fendi (a peekaboo) and had some questions. I initially wanted the mini in selleria leather. However, when looking at the used one on preloved market, they look super slouchy and quite sloppy. Does this happen even if you don’t overstuff your bag?

After seeing that, I’m considering the iseeu since it’s more structured. However, the small was a lot heavier than the mini which I don’t love. With the nano, are you able to fit sunglasses in it?

Lastly, I know Selleria leather will be more durable but how delicate is the Napa leather? I just love the colors in the napa leather option.

Does anyone know which LV agendas and full size wallets fit A6 cash stuffing envelopes?



I’ve recently gotten into this fun hobby and would like to see some options to build up my collection. I have an LV agenda PM and A7 matching envelopes but don’t like having to fold my bills in half for it. Right now, I’m using an all-in-1 envelope system zip wallet with removable binder (that’s a tad too big for my liking) and 2 A6 iridescent binders with inserts (from Amazon).

Please share your pics, experience and advice on this topic. Thank you so much

loewe puzzle - pro: security of zip lock, cons: a bit bulky for my petite frama
bottega andiamo: pros: versatility In terms of wear (crossbody or shoulder), con: not very secure as it’s an open tote.

I am sooo sick of mini bags. Yes some are super cute but they are just not practical. A lot of them you can barely fit a phone, lip gloss and keys. Most are 6-8 inches wide and are a pain to get in and out of.

Some of you might be saying "just don't buy them then". I get it and I don't. I guess my main pet peeve is that bag makers have stopped making small yet practical sized bags. I feel like a bag needs to be 11-13 inches wide. And you RARELY see that anymore. Or if you do the bag is 15" tall which does not work for me as I am very short. I miss the days of the 11x6 or 11x8 bag.

And there does not seem to be an end in site to what I thought was originally a trend of the moment. Most designers have mini and go immediately to large bags, skipping small/medium altogether. Some are pretty expensive bags considering they barely or don't hold essentials.

Don't even get me started on Micro bags!!

Is it me or is anyone else feeling the same way?

Hello to the Bag Restorers on here,

My mum has had these two bags at the back of the closet for many years. She doesn’t know how to look after leather bags.
The brown leather one was bought in 1982 and reminds me a bit of some of the popular styles out at the moment with the 3-compartment split.
She loves the beige/fabric one, which used to have a thin layer of leather inside, but is now breaking apart. It is over 30 years old.

It looks quite degraded and I assume it’s a case of getting it professionally assessed?
I am based in the UK so if you know of UK restorers, please share their details. Thanks!

Just saw this gorgeous bag in Munich in large and I can’t seem to find it online. Is it discontinued? I was at the boutique and would have bought it but was in a rush and they didn’t have the taupe in large! Help… I would love to find one

Has anyone had the chance to check this out in person yet? I thought this might be a good practical alternative to the 95.22. This looks more casual and a lot lighter in comparison. Or do we think it is too boring and unimaginative?

I recently picked up this gorgeous Lindy 30 in Rouge Garance and I'm here to ask for your expert styling advice. I'd like the option of dressing her up with an accessory every so often, so I'm seeking your suggestions for a Twilly that would compliment her vibrant colour.

I found one on Fashionphile earlier that I quite liked, but worried it might be a bit too '4th July' for some people's taste... I'm in Australia though, so it doesn't necessarily translate that way. I kind of just liked the boldness and pop of colour. I'll post a photos of it below.

then I saw the gradient pink and finally managed to order it last week.it’s very pretty , very girlie . I can on,y afford to keep one. The only downside Iam thinking to the pink is it might get dirty . Currently I don’t use a bag just the key pouch.

Hello lovelies ❤️. I just received the small basket bag and LOVE IT. My only concern is this bump at the bottom. I know the bag is handmade and there will be some irregular areas, but I’m worried b/c this is on the bottom and the bump could break over time as I set it down on over the years. I would exchange for another one. What do you all think? Is this normal or would you exchange?

Hi everyone! I’m relatively new to Hermes and I was wondering what different roles the employees have in the store. My SA is a selling supervisor but she pretty much dresses the same as all the other SA’s. I noticed 2-3 employees not wearing the traditional all black clothing and was wondering if they were management? Also is there a difference between store manager and director because I’ve seen people on the sub using both terms. Thank you all

I found an older Oroton bag at a thrift store and when I went to put it away, it kind of rattled. A lot. I shook it and it sounded like a whole package of crackers in there but I couldn't see anything. There was a hand sewn part in the liner, so I cut it open and it's FULL of this chalky, crumbly stuff. There are patches of it left on the sides, so I'm thinking a starch or stiffener?

I've never seen anything like this before. What do you guys think?

Hi! I received the Montaigne Avenue bag as a birthday gift and I absolutely love it but found the strap to be a bit short. The current strap cannot be removed easily or unless I use pliers very carefully. So I was planning to buy the Dior guitar adjustable shoulder strap in blue so I can use this one instead. So my questions are: have anyone removed a non-removable strap to put the guitar strap? Or what other alternatives I have? I checked Etsy but couldn’t find a dark blue leather strap to buy and use. Any other ideas? Thanks!

I've got a YSL East West tote - its barely used except from travelling, the handles are starting to peel. This looks awful and makes the bag look fake. Have anyone else had this? I've seen you can mail them for repairs but it seems really below standard to be happening.

I am thinking of purchasing a Tambour watch. I have been searching on here for any info but not a lot comes up regarding LV's watches. Is this because they are not so popular?
Does anyone have one that can share their thoughts?
Or if you don't have one what are your thoughts on them?

I'm on the hunt for some new Hermes shoes and prefer sandals and loafers. My local boutique is always low on stock so I probably have to order them online. Do you habe any recommendation for H sandals that work for wide feet? I've already tried on Orans but they looked weird on me. And do you know if they have any loafers made for wide feet?

I have this classic flap wallet I purchased at a Nordstrom chanel store. I took it in 3 times within the past year to get it repaired. It literally has been sitting in repair more than I have been using it. First time due to the gold hardware losing color, second time the thread from the quilting is coming out. After getting the wallet back from the 2nd repair/requilting, the tab where the cc logo is on has enlarged stitching holes and the leather around the holes are peeling off. So I took in for repair for the third time (I have to repair it because they damaged it during a repair ><).

I finally got the wallet back from the 3rd repair. They didn’t do what they promised (which was to replace the tab) but instead just glued the peeling leather back. Come on, I waited how many months for this?!

At this point I am pretty fed up and asked if I can just get an exchange or store credit because honestly I am so done with the wallet. Then they said because the wallet is purchased at a Nordstrom chanel store and not a stand alone boutique, they can’t offer any exchange or store credit. I asked another SA who works at NM and she never heard of this. Is this legit or are they BSing me once again?

Hi Ladies! I recently purchased a pre-loved classic flap. Original owner purchased the bag 12/2021 so it’s the microchip version. I was given a copy of the receipt, which shows it was purchased on 12/15/2021 at Beverly Hills. I registered the bag to chanel & moi program. Once registered, the date & location of purchase did not match the receipt, i will attach a screenshot from chanel & moi website. Seller said that she had the bag shipped to her, & it was purchase from Beverly Hills

I don't wear much jewelry bc I'm allergic to several metals but I loved these earrings. Then I ordered matching necklace (not sure I'd wear the set together) and was on a search for the perfect dress that would showcase the blue stone. Realized I could pair with gold Dolce & Gabana sandals that I have never worn. Decided I need a small gold bag to complete the ensemble and just found a few online that could work. Made a collage to see it all together. Which do you like best?
