Here are action pics from Paris, then on a couch at home, with 28 quadrille which I accepted from FSH in 2022. I don’t know what to ask for, so what I do is I show SAs my own action pics and other inspiration pics, and then they curate selections for me to choose from. I almost feel as though I’ve waited many years for these bags to choose me lol

The couch, in 1991 fabric by Jean Castalbajac is what started me on my love of toile. I should also note that I’m on the chunky side of slim, and I am somewhat broad shouldered and framed for my height. In busier, mixed media bags, the 28/30 size is most flattering on me. Although an all leather 28/30 gets heavy, I can handle the weight of a fabric leather 28/30. Since I don’t carry much, in all leather bags, I do sometimes carry a size 25.

Hi, I am planning to go to Paris either November or December. Anyone have tips or information if they have more stocks in certain stores or should I go on a particular day when inventory comes in? I am looking for the mini classic rectangle in black with silver hardware which I think will be hard to come by. How many days should I stay in Paris to wait for inventory? Thank you!

I am in the market for a birkin after getting lucky with an authentic Kelly in great condition authenticated by bababebi.

I am now looking for a B30 or B35 and it got me thinking.

Do you authenticate no matter what? What if the seller was someone reputable like Docride or SandiaExchange? Is this one of those things that you authenticate no matter what?

Hermes bought on Fashionphile, a random seller on eBay or TRR, I totally get it but what if the seller is known as a top notch Hermes seller? Do you bother?

Adjustable canvas strap that is removable on one side (I supposed to make it easier to roll up the strap and store inside the bag). Comparable size/space to the KM GM with the added benefit of an outsize zip pocket. No discernible H branding on the outside - very quiet luxury lOL

Ever since the pandemic, when I have not had to go into an office every single day, I don’t wear as many of my 90 silks as I would love to do. I have two Hermès 4 post fixation systems so I can rotate scarves on two systems in different rooms. My 90 pieces of silky art make me so happy, and I love seeing them.

Imagine to my great delight when I found on luxurybagdisplay.com. a magnetic lighting display system! It perfectly holds a 90 between an acrylic front plate with magnets, attached to the back plate of the frame with magnets. It is very easy to put a scarf in and very easy to rotate scarves. It comes with a black frame or a gold frame. At $600 it’s actually less than the four post system and I was lucky enough to get it on sale over the Labor Day holiday. As it is packed so very carefully, it took me forever to unpack it, and about five minutes to install the scarf and plug it in.

I have no financial ties with luxurybagdisplay.com, I’m just a very happy customer with the acrylic boxes I have bought for my Hermès handbags over the years, and now I am even happier with this lighted display. I know many here display their scarves and some frame them permanently. This fixed all my problems because I don’t want to frame any permanently in case I wish to wear them. This way I can display on dim or bright LED lighting and change the scarf whenever I wish. Even my husband is thrilled as he has always loved my silk and thinks the artwork is stunning as do I. PS I took two photographs as there’s a window across from the mantle that reflected in the acrylic and then one from an angle so the reflection doesn’t show. The scarf is La March du Zambeze noir/vert/orange H002987S 18.

Hey! I'm interested in getting a very subtle rhinoplasty to overall slim my nose and get rid of a small bump. I'm interested in getting it done in NSW, preferably around the Sydney area. I'm considering Dr George Marcells, as he seems to have a pretty good rep and I believe he can improve some functional aspects, because I might have a problem with my sinuses, and I struggle a lot to breathe through my nose (I don't think my septum is deviated). I'd appreciate hearing your recommendations and experience, thanks in advance!

I know posting this in the Handbags forum is very ironic, but is there anyone else stepping away from luxury and handbags in general? After my second downsizing, I'm happy with the bags I kept. There's nothing else I need or want to buy. I'm waiting to see Phoebe Philo's new collection, but besides that, all the new releases aren't interesting to me at all. A friend recently offered to bring me a vintage or secondhand bag from Japan, and I couldn't think of anything to get.

Then there's financial reasons. I want to save more money and spend my money wisely but I also want to spend less time thinking about shopping and handbags. But I've also just gotten bored and moved on from endless consumption and mindless shopping. I've seen some people on Youtube talk about doing the same things, but I'm wondering if anyone on TPF is?

I am thinking of return rtw (jacket) that I bought last week and get store credit and when I see something else I like better I can get it. This cashmere jacket looks ok on me but I think it will be sitting in my closet and not much wearing. However, i m afraid my sa will mad. I am not sure what to say to him and I am sure he will be not happy, because I know how he is…

I’m looking to add a slim tennis bracelet to pair with my 5 motif mop bracelet. Just not sure if I should add yellow gold or white gold. I was leaning more yellow but surprisingly I don’t mind the white gold. I tried on some similar size pieces at Cartier just to get an idea. I’ll be purchasing the bracelet through a local jeweler. My tennis bracelet will probably be slightly skinnier than the white gold version here.

Hi all, I’m from the UK and currently in Orlando on vacation. I visited EPCOT yesterday and one of the boutiques sells pre-loved/vintage bags. They have a classic flap Chanel from c.1991-94. The seller is called “what comes around goes around” and there’s a QR code which gives information on how they have authenticated the bag. It’s in really decent condition but sales are final. Whats everyone’s thoughts on this seller and would you buy with a risk that perhaps it’s not been authenticated very well? I loved that the 90s Chanels have the gold plated hardware and the quality of the bag seemed excellent quality in my “non-expert” mind. Thanks in advance

I have been a fan of Bottega since Daniel Lee, and have two padded cassettes (kiwi and black), an Arco tote bag (ice cream), two chain pouches (clay and blue), and one mini jodie (white). I also have a few pairs of shoes, a jacket and a bathrobe.

I kind of moved away from Bottega after getting all those bags and then recently started noticing them again… and bought a small Andiamo bag in Agate Gray. I’ve been using the Andiamo every day since. What should my next bag be??

Does anyone have a pic of this stack? I’m wondering if the small JUC will look too out of proportion next to thicker diamond version. I am also on the fence about if diamonds are worth it for the love ring so this will help me. Thank you!
