Your thoughts on the Reade PM...

I think it just depends. I also am 5'1" and I love it. I guess because I have several larger bags already and like the smallness of it.
Since you asked...I find it too small for my taste. I either like a bag that has significant size(bv, speedy 30 a papillon 30, a mezzo) or a tiny clutch type bag(recital, beverly etc.) The ones that fall in between papillon 26, pochette, reade, speedy 25, just look too small to me unless i was a teenager and then they'd be perfect! To me the reade is an ideal bag for a young woman, it looks very youthful to me. I feel too old for it, lol.
If it were me, I'd go for the houston, and I prefer the pomme over the rouge.

I have a Wilson Fluo Reade in Neon Pink -- an eBay find. It's small and not something I can use every day. The open top drove me crazy until I did the smart thing and tucked small items into cosmetic or small pouches.
I have the Reade PM in Framboise and while I agree that it is small, I still love it. She is so pretty and I always get compliments when I use her, which is not everyday. I use her on special occasions normally. I don't mind the open top bags, so that wasn't an issue for me.
