Mini Danube from 1985? - went to Europe with a friend. She bought a ton of stuff. I bought that at he George V boutique. I barely used it then and still have it and it looks brand new. It might fit my new Amelie wallet better than my victorine, so I may put into into rotation. Very Retro.

Keepall with a strap my parents bought for my in 1986 at the Beverly Hills boutique - didn't use it for years (10s). Used it a few years ago and I need to replace the zipper. The bottom is beat up and the vachetta is golden. I need to find a new key for my lock - I think its number 209. I used to check it when flying.

I found an 89 mono speedy 35 on fashionphile. It was a decent price and in pretty good shape. It could use a new vachetta pull tab but that’s really it. I’d love to buy only vintage going forward but it’s hard to justify the pricing sometimes. I travel to France for my job so it’s not a huge savings to get vintage through sites like fashionphile when it isn’t that much more once I get the French price and no taxes for new.

This is what I always think when people post, asking about whether or not to buy pre loved. Unless it is a very old item or discontinued style, it almost never makes sense to buy it used (even though I do prefer old vachetta). Just go to France (if you can)! In some cases it is even cheaper than buying used, a total no brainer.
