Mono Speedy 35 from the early 90's. Great bag to take in bad weather, it holds a lot. Vachetta is dark, still looks fine. In some cases I like the beat-up look. It looks like it's been around the block but it isn't ratty by any means.
New to me, year 2005. the wapity case. purchased it today. in perfect condition and even patina. love it!
Mini Danube from 1985? - went to Europe with a friend. She bought a ton of stuff. I bought that at he George V boutique. I barely used it then and still have it and it looks brand new. It might fit my new Amelie wallet better than my victorine, so I may put into into rotation. Very Retro.
Keepall with a strap my parents bought for my in 1986 at the Beverly Hills boutique - didn't use it for years (10s). Used it a few years ago and I need to replace the zipper. The bottom is beat up and the vachetta is golden. I need to find a new key for my lock - I think its number 209. I used to check it when flying.

My oldest LV pieces are my Speedy 30 from 1981 and an Elise wallet and a Trousse 28 from 1983 (LV replaced the button on my Elise a year or so ago and the zipper on the Speedy a couple of years ago).

This is what I always think when people post, asking about whether or not to buy pre loved. Unless it is a very old item or discontinued style, it almost never makes sense to buy it used (even though I do prefer old vachetta). Just go to France (if you can)! In some cases it is even cheaper than buying used, a total no brainer.

My oldest bag is a Keepall 50 from 1986 - two years before I was born! It is an absolutely lovely bag I bought pre-loved, and it's clear the previous owner(s) loved it as much as I do as it is in fantastic condition. I don't have any pictures handy at the moment but I love it so!

Just purchased a Sac Plat from the 1970s on eBay and have to say, I'm deeply impressed! The leather handles are in bad shape but wrapping them each up in a twilly solves that problem. The interior is lined in leather! This handbag is constructed with such higher quality than the new Sac Plats.
