So @lavenderjunkie quick question.would you happen to know ifthe batch has a small number such as 24 is that it for the particular bag? Poof It’s gone….. when they sell out. I’m talking about the Florentine Pouchette. I am. Immediately it seems they made these sin small batches. I got two at the same time. I want 2 more. Doesir it make sense to go ahead and get them while available.i purchased the navy and chestnut on saleat the same time but received the navy quickly the chestnut came a week later.…… both were small batches I’m thinking the other colors will be small batches as well. These bubsgs are so beautiful they are EVERYTHING THAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. ANDI want 2 more colorsTHESE COLORS SERE NOT AVAILABLE WHEN I PURCHASED I WOULHAVE PICKED ONE OF THEM WHEN I WAS ORDERING BUT ITS ONLY ON QVC. I LOVE THESE BAGS SO MUCH I WOULD PAYBTHE QVC PRICE….LOL. IM SURE YOU KNOW I Must really LOVE THIS BAG……THANKS IN ADVANCE

It’s gorgeous and looks so comfortable. I saw it also comes in Natural. Ugh, I really want this one, looks like the perfect shoulder bag.
Florentine handbags are often small batch production, especially these days. Core colors
like black and natural might be remade, if they run the style again. But other colors you
might have to wait for years, assuming they ever come back.
I think if the style does well, then they might bring back some of the richer colors for fall.
But there is really no way to know. If you know you love the style, and you decide you
must have the other colors, I'd buy them if the price works for you. The better the
discount the easier it is to justify multiples. At full price, I don't know if I could
convince myself I need so many colors. But that's just me.

Enjoy all your new handbags. Dooney pebbled leather is my go to handbag
choice.... great styles to choose from, lots of colors, holds up very nicely to
everyday use, and easy to keep looking clean with very little care.
I also love the Florentine and Alto Dooney leathers. But, I'm more careful
with them. Hard to unlearn years of 'save it for good' habits when dealing with
the more expensive collections. 😁

Ordered the Florentine Bucket Bag and the Pebble Grain 25 Crossbody. Been eyeing the PG 25 in red for a while so I finally picked it up. I missed it when it was priced at $119. I haven't been checking my email and I missed that it was a deal. When I finally got around to ordering it the new sale had started. It was only $10 more, but still mad with myself.
Got the Florentine Drawstring Crossbody in black. This is another bag I missed out on when it was the bag of the month, and when it was on sale during the Florentine sale. I had some coupons so that helped knock the price down. Not sure if I'm going to keep it though. It's cute, but I do have other small Black bags. We shall see..

You inspired me to get the pouchette. I ordered it in natural, (came in today) and I love it. The leather is soooo smooth and beautiful!! My only complaint is the strap is a little too short for me when I put it on my shoulder. Wish the strap was removable.
Enjoy all your new handbags. I know how it feels to miss the sale and then
have to buy the bag at a higher price. But if it's only a few $, remember the more
you wear the bag the smaller the difference is on a per wear basis. Hopefully
we can forget the frustration of missing the better prices and just enjoy our new
treasures. Just like in the financial world, we can't always buy things (like stocks)
at the lowest price.... so the business theory is called dollar cost averaging..... consistently
buying over time.... so that on average you get the best prices and don't always buy
at the highs. We tend to remember the really great sale prices when we were lucky
enough to get them. The key is to enjoy every handbag you have and then it
will be worth the money you paid for it.
The Alto Large Woven Tote in black has arrived! Like the medium sized one
I ordered in saddle, the black is a keeper too!
But unlike the medium, the large size does not have a center zip section
(some will consider that a good thing, but I like the center zip section
for security).
The large is not large. It's a good size but smaller than the dimensions
on the ILD site. By my measurements, the large is 12" long across the bottom,
6" deep and 12" tall. The web site must have measured across the top if the
bag to have listed it at 16" long. Across the top I measure 15".
I'm happier that it's 12" long, that's a perfect size for my needs.
I also wanted to note that the back side of the snap flap is black....
not saddle color, as pictured on the web site. The saddle color underside
in the photo looked unfinished, so I'm really delighted the color matches the
bag. The interior is lined in red cotton fabric.
