View attachment 5821103Couture week is over and before getting on the plane, I decided to pop by FSH to say hi to my lovely SA and possibly get a couple scarves, too. Please excuse my outfit and Allbirds sneakers as I always prioritize flying in comfort lol

I had no intentions of buying anything but a couple scarves and accessories but oh dear. She brought me to a room and insisted I try on this mini kelly in very fizz. Though I know I won’t reach for it as I carry a ton everywhere I go, I know my daughter will so I just had to get it. I feel super lucky as I’ve heard how difficult it is to get a leather appointment nowadays.

I said to my SA I’ll only get this bag in the condition she snaps a photo of the bag and I with eye candy behind me so I could share it here in TPF and she was happy to do so. So please enjoy the background!
Absolutely wondrous bag. The color is one of my favorites. Your daughter has a wonderful mother.

The Faubourg Tropical is my scarf of the week. (And the closest I’ve ever been to FSH lol)
I’m happy I have found use for my silks during the hot summer. And although these Egerie rubber sandals are not walking shoes they’ve been perfect to run errands and then hang by the pool while here on ban island :coolio: Have a great weekend everyone!

What a lovely tribute loh. Your Birkin is sure a lovely beater! I was saddened to read of her passing this morning. She was an artist, a rebel, a performer, and I loved that she used one Birkin at a time, made it her own until it was totally well loved, and then auctioned her bag for charity, got her next and repeated. Thanks for posting.
Thank you. I affectionately call this Birkin my beater bag as it is my most worn and has the most casual vibe to me. I love it to bits. It's a B30, not a B35 as Jane's, but it's the closest to her effortless style as I could pull off while on our travels.

Thank you, DrTr! Same to you! I love all of your pics and posts! Trying to stay cool in this hot weather, so the silks will remain tied to my bags for awhile, unless I am in a well air conditioned room. Hope you are doing well and staying cool!
Thank you so much :flowers: I’m inspired to use some of my 45’s on bags thanks to your pic! And yes, a folded amount of silk around the neck when it’s 98 degrees F outside is really not appealing, is it!! Hope you are well and here’s to a more temperate week.
