My grail finally arrived today - and it is just as lovely as I'd imagined. This design came before the Year of India. I remember seeing a version from the SOTD thread in twill and when the mousseline version came up on the Bay, I had to leap for it. Wasn't sure how the colors would work together, but it is a lovely springtime silk.

Le Fleuve Sacre from 2005 -Corail Green Blue colorway.Hope you all enjoy the photos! More photos to post on the mousseline thread.:hbeat:
This is gorgeous, and you look fabulous! Most awesome colors, and a design I've always loved. Congratulations, lanit!! :woohoo::woohoo:

Just a quick update on the faded Turandot. It's returned and my money was immediately refunded. I don't really blame the seller - their English is not very good, and their listings run the gamut from really low prices to ridiculously overpriced. They seem to have a gigantic inventory, so I guess whoever does the pricing for scarves makes errors now and then. If it reappears I will post a warning in the FINDS thread!

Meanwhile, I just got a different grail (why do I have so many?) and will post pix tomorrow when I have time! :smile1:

Yay, Lanit - I hope you got this one from my friend who had several mousses up on eBay last week. She has the most lovely stuff!

And seeing your modeling pix has encouraged me to dig mine out. I still distinctly recall the day I walked into my local boutique and saw this beauty on the wall display. I thought that it was so beautiful that I nearly shrieked!! Snatched up that baby in an instant!

As always, you look just beautiful - I hope you enjoy wearing this beauty!

Yes, with another $100 knocked off the price! It's certainly wearable, and a very desirable CW. Some might find this new pricing workable...

Aaaannnnnnndd it's already been snatched up! haha.
At least the rating was changed to a "4" this time and the faded corner is prominently shown. One day both of us will find our beloved Turandot!

I'm dying to see what grail you got!!
I, too, found one I've been searching for forever and it's on it's way. I should get it by early next week [no it is not the faded Turandot! hehe].

Thank you Moma and luv. Can't wait to see your consolation prize Grail Moma!:graucho:

Not a major grail, but a long-awaited acquisition. OK, maybe a minor grail. :p Since 2012 I have been interested in a scarf I saw in a photo. It was one of those that doesn't have a title, and I eventually found out it's called "Mail coach" or "Attelages." The CWs are all a bit weird (original issue 1953, reissue 1984, both are decades famous for horrible color combinations! LOL). The first photo is the one that captured my interest. Great design, horrible colors.

I acquired a white one, with blue, brown, and red details (and I showed it last week in SOTD) but have had my eye on a fabulous RED and BLUE CW for ages. After a second price drop last week, I made it mine. It has not been worn, and still has that starchy 80s feel, but I love the colors, even though they are bold. I wore it yesterday with even bolder red corduroy jeans and my farandole. Sorry the purple iPhone case clashes! Thank you for indulging my little story.

Oh how pretty! Congratulations momasaurus. I love the classic pattern and the colors are wonderful. It's actually very hard to find a good red blue combination like this. I find that they are usually spoiled by the addition of too much yellow or gold. Well done!

Really like your newest CW! Interesting, you have tied it so that the red does not dominate. Just perfect!

It's beautiful....made even more so by the way you tied it!

Thanks so much, Pocketbook Pup, BJS, scarf1 and bobkat. Isn't it great that we don't all want the same thing in the same colors? Well, we all want Turandot but never mind. You know what I mean!

What has everyone else got their eye on?

I hope whoever got it is happy with it! Last night I dreamt that H had reissued it in 16 amazing new colorways and I bought them ALL. I was so happy. Then mad when I woke up, Turandot-less.
