I want to give a special shout out to perfumegirl for finding this for me!

This became a Grail for me several months ago when I "slept on" the decision to buy it and missed out. It seems to be a not commonly seen cw.

It's a much softer design than I am used to and am going to need to play with what it goes best with. I don't think charcoal is the answer. Trying chocolate brown next. I feel like it's getting a bit lost with my high contrast coloring.

But, it's beautiful and I adore it and thanks again perfumegirl for finding it! [emoji8]

Les Amazones. Don't know cw but it's lavender, cornflower blue, and loads of browns and greiges.

The figures on this one are so charming! I am looking forward to seeing what you put it together with. I think we wear similar colors - I wear black/white and clear bright jewel tones most always. High contrast for me, too. But man, sometimes I dream of being able to wear neutrals, soft colors and the like.

You have fabulous scarf luck, Pup!! This cw blew out at retail. I know a number of folks who would love a back up of this one. I love black/white scarves and I am fine with grey added, but those don't come around much in H land - someone always throws in gold or another color that makes the scarf unwearable for me.

Enjoy this treasure! You have inspired me to dig mine out - once the endless rain is over...

Thank you. You are so right that they always seem to throw in some yellow or some other color that ruins the neutrals.

Exactly.

Thanks Luvbolide. I am going to make it work. I think frou frou is on to something. There is no color reason why this scarf shouldn't flatter me. I KNOW these colors flatter me. I just need to find more complimentary pieces to wear it with.

And perhaps a new lipstick?! Yes!! [emoji168][emoji182]

This design and the colors are breathtaking. I like it with charcoal and perhaps with a lighter grey as well.

Yay! It came. I am so happy that everything worked out for you. I really do like this cw a lot, and if I were to search for a Les Amazones of my own, I would hunt this down. I like the look with dark colors, to give it a contrast, and suspect I would probably pair it with my boring blue suits and dresses. I also second the idea of pairing it with purples for a tonal match.

Yes! And yay! Thank you again so much for finding it. I'm looking forward to trying different things with it and better knots too. [emoji8]

I'm too tired to model so I'm letting ms Kelly GT do it for me. I missed out on one of these on eBay a few weeks ago. Good thing because I found this less expensive one. LFASDV. I think I have good scarf luck. I'm not sure DH agrees. [emoji23]View attachment 3305574

Beautiful!

What's the white/ivory base colour. Have you tried a white/ivory shirt with it? :graucho:

Thank you! I will post it when I wear it properly. It actually found me. Hermes serendipity. Just when you give up on something it appears. I have now given up on large diamond earrings. Do you hear that Hermes?

Thank you texasgirligirl and Maedi! I'll definitely play with some options as soon as I can, and report back. I'm thinking navy may also work well.

Navy works always. :smile1:
I also find that I used to try to match my scarves too much. Now I pick the scarf more based on my mood and since I wear mostly black, navy, grey it usually works. But then I'm also in awe of the matching ensembles especially with patterns ;)
