AGREED! I would happily pay $330 [10% markup] for a great condition C'est La Fete. But $450-$500?!?!?! NO WAY

But 10-20% doesn't cover their fees (ebay, paypal, currency exchange). We don't want resellers to do charity work for us in finding grails, right? There's no price tag we can put on our grails. So, let them sell at whatever price/cost they justify, then it's up to our budget. Reseller is not a dirty word/profession. I think it's unfair to judge how people make money. What do we know what's the story behind it? I know some use the money to help support the family.

Back to topic, I'll be happy to pay more than twice retail for a Texas Wildlife csgm. I'm trying to collect all the colorways. Lost in a bid recently, and haven't seen one since.

Oh of course. I didn't mean 10-20% above retail, I meant 10-20% above what they would normally charge for it. Because they know it's a Grail. But not extortion level prices. As I said I know they serve a purpose and they help us. But there are limits.

I present my latest grail purchase. It was not in my preferred size or colorway but due to two barely noticeable spots I got it for a steal and could not pass it up. Some scarves I want simply for the pattern and this is one of them.

TSUBAS in 45cm gavroche
1991 issue in red, navy, green and gold.
I DO love how the animal motifs are done in gold so that was the deal maker.

Tsubas has a dog also [at least I think it is a dog...maybe more of a lion but oh well] on the right panel. Sorry for the somewhat blurry iphone pic...the lighting in my bedroom kind of sucks HAHA.

I have never seen an Anneau in the dog either!!!! Next dog year is 2018 so maybe then? I am not sure they even do these anymore though. Last one was 2006 and that would have made more sense since I think these are older designs.
