Congrats!
(Actually I find stuff from Japan gets here faster than from across the country!)

+1. When they ship with EMS, I'll usually expect not more than 3 days till nirvana. :D:D

As promised. TSUBAS in action today.

With that little pop of a bold color, it's a very sophisticated look!

This thread is so enabling. My saved search list on ebay is growing so fast and I'm buying way more that I can wear this past month.. I'll have to put on head scarf, turn scarves into bags, wrap them as tops, wear them as belts to justify growing the collection in such speed.. But, I'm definitely not complaining! :cloud9:

Perfect cw for you. Looks great, holiday-ish, too.

Thank you both :D

I present my latest grail purchase. It was not in my preferred size or colorway but due to two barely noticeable spots I got it for a steal and could not pass it up. Some scarves I want simply for the pattern and this is one of them.

TSUBAS in 45cm gavroche
1991 issue in red, navy, green and gold.
I DO love how the animal motifs are done in gold so that was the deal maker.
WOW!!!! This is the first Tsubas I've seen in dark dramatic cw (and I've been hankering for one for a couple of years)

Suits you to a T, Bostonjetset

I remember confiding to frou frou about my on HG scarf whilst striding up Bond Street. She had no doubt I'd find one but I must say I had plenty.

I've been waiting 6 years for one of these in good condition, and what do you know, 2 mint were available at once. Now I have bees in silver and gold and jacquards too :ghi5:

Nothing to hand 1804 but here they are with my 1901 alli/gold Mappin and Webb card holder, showing the different tones of the more neutral parts

Congratulation paper tiger. These are beautiful! Will you model them for us sometime?

:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo: Papertiger Yes, I remember and here they are !
I hope we can repeat our stride down Bond Street soon !
These Napoleons are made for you , and I'm thrilled that they have arrived now at Christmas time.
Twins on the orange , I bought mine in the 90s whilst dashing through Harrods and I often get it out to drool over the details , bees ,line drawings….it's to me the most magnificent scarf Hermès have ever produced . I always tended to hide quite a bit of the border , but I need to get it out again because these days no orange is too orange . :smile1::sunshine:
I wore it a lot and have had it cleaned by Hermès a year or two ago as I didn't trust it not to colour-run being an older scarf and red/orange being notoriously tricky .
Since then it's been in its orange box and somewhat neglected.
I think the brown is incredible, still beautiful but less obviously glam , and so it will be an easy one to reach for .
