I would not say that this is pilling but it is at the fuzzy stage where you wear it one or 2 more times, it will pill like a mofo. The quality of the CSGMs that year was very poor and this gets worn looking fast. This is one of my SA's favorite CSGM so I know what it looks like when worn every week for yrs since I see her in it all the time.
As for the giant silks, I am not the person to ask. I dont have any (I am still waiting for one to blow me away) and I only started the Ode thread to help Palmbeachie. If you work closely with your SA, H used to have a rolodex where they group the scarves by colors behind the cash register. Dunno if they are doing it again this season but would help if u are looking for a neutral cw.
Haha! Thank you! You are at least honest. I know what you mean. My SA wears a toho bohu shawl every day and it looks like a rag at this point. Not sure if that was the same year. You probably do. I suppose if you bought it new and love it and it gradually wears that's one thing. To pay twice retail and have it look like heck in a few wearings would be really annoying.
I'll make myself content with another neutral design whether it be a cashmere or a silk and hope someday they do a nice reissue.
I like the giant silks. I have two chemins secrets and a Tapis persans so far. So if they do a neutral that might be good for me. My SA is mum. She should work for the CIA or something. But that's fine. These things aren't flying off the shelf anytime soon. [emoji6]

This grail only came to me very lately. This is the only color way that I have seen that really spoke to me. Plus I'm looking for good beiges these days to go with GT. I have to give full credit to Pirula who located it and then told me.

This really is a the grail of grails for many of us .
I think it's the best design ever because it ties so beautifully with that amazing border and then there's the extraordinary sand inspiring story within .
