I am happy it went to a tPFer! You are right, I hesitated because I wasn't sure the colorway was right for me. I also have this scarf in other colorways (including the mostly prune one) and am trying to slow down my crazy scarf acquisitions.

Wear it in good health and please post a photo when you get it! :smile1:

the mostly prune one was the one I was sent by mistake. It is really beautiful too, but didn't love me or fit my wardrobe. I think Maitai said Hermes also sent her the prune one by mistake and she loved it so much that she kept it. But Maitai can do wonders with a scarf.

Froufrou, would you mind posting a photo of yours? It sounds lovely.

I have the very colorful blue turquoise hot pink one that tango Tosca has. I found myself craving some brights toward the end of summer. I really love it especially with navy as a pop of color. And it goes with my colvert bag. I found myself loving the design so much that I'm hoping for the red blue brown now too. More subtle shades like this are more my norm.

I've been away and shall take some photos flat and modelled over the weekend.
I realise I've never shown it on tpf and this is a wake up call to wear it!

I saw a post on her site with that CW and a grey and burgundy outfit and it is stunning. So funny that H mixed up the CWs on multiple orders!

Here are some pix from the archives:

You're a great model for this scarf. Such a versatile scarf. How beautiful.. The way you showed the lavender/red/light blue makes it such a different scarf.

I desperately hope someone will grab it soon because my index finger has been trying to click on that magic button a couple of times whenever my will power ran low... But I really should not! :nono:

Golly it's so nice to be twins with so many lovely posters on this thread. I just went to look and found I actually bought the Prune C'est le Fete. I thought I only had one in another colourway. Needless to say I have not worn it but I should!

Oh that is quite beautiful! Look at that purple! So pretty.

Definitely pretty fabulous! :hbeat:

Momasaurus this is fabulous! [emoji7] I kind of wish I had snapped it up when I had the chance. Maybe it will be on my shortlist for next year.

Superb design! Envy~~

Great shots! The 3 diff tops really bring out different colours in the scarf.

You wear in well ;)

Oh momasaurus, you and this grail scarf look absolutely beautiful!

Thank you, everyone. I do love the versatility of this scarf.

My advice (which I don't always follow, lol) is BE PATIENT. This is a skill I am still working on, especially in the scarf hunt.

Friends, an early Christmas miracle happened...

The last Grail has been found!! :yahoo:

I've been looking for this scarf in this colorway since 2009. On the rare occasions it would surface, it was always at $500+ dollars (just type "hermes angleterre" into eBay right now and prepare to be appalled).

More pictures and profile are here.

This is the last thing I had on my list. It's taken me seven years to do it, but I found all my grails. Yes! I'm done!! :happydance: I wrote a long piece about my grails and grail hunting in general on my thread here. But you have to sing along with the song!

Congratulations! It's beautiful. I love the colors. I have noticed this one before especially since I live in New England now. None of the other color ways has appealed to me as much as this one. The colors remind me somewhat of neutral mythiques Phoenix. I had no idea it looked so good tied. I might have to add this one to my list. Wear it I good health.
