Wish I'd stocked up at the time with ELenK I could be stashing a nice little retirement fund!

I thought that the only one that was notching up megabucks was the one MaiTai bought[ her choices always become expensive in the reseller market ] It was black/ochre and became the most popular.
I have the sepia c'way with the cobalt , green and the red hem .Loved it at sight.
Like PT I found the brighter ones too difficult to wear comfortably, as I did with most of the CSGMs.
Some of them were downright weird .
Thinking of re issues it always amazes me how the new colourations can transform a hitherto boring design , with something as complex as ELen K what combinations could appear next?

I also find the transformative power of a cw amazing. Glad you found the ExLeK 'one' for you frou frou, that is not an easy design to wear in the 'wrong' cw. Again it reminds me of MP, so much going on anyway.

Shades of greens and creams or shades/hues/tints of purples and greys and I'll be camping outside NBS all night to be near the front of the queue.

Froufrou, would you mind posting a photo of yours? It sounds lovely.

I have the very colorful blue turquoise hot pink one that tango Tosca has. I found myself craving some brights toward the end of summer. I really love it especially with navy as a pop of color. And it goes with my colvert bag. I found myself loving the design so much that I'm hoping for the red blue brown now too. More subtle shades like this are more my norm.

The great thing about the photo of the ambassador in Promenade de Platon is that she has simply tossed on the scarf - No muss no fuss, no bias fold, no scarf ring

In my wind's eye, I see her as having a few scarves in her desk drawer - rather like men keep ties just in case, and she put on the scarf to receive her guests at the last minute

And the scarf is TDF, that contrast hem ! It sticks out a mile away, and I noticed it despite having Kate and Will in the foreground

Sometimes simple is really good

Don't you hate that? I am still sulking over the perfect Chanel black jacket that I had in my cart and was buying when the credit card number was off by one digit and someone else stole it out from under me. It was so painful. And then to add to the pain I got an email two weeks later that the person had returned it and it was available again but someone had already beaten me to it a second time. [emoji16]
