So much fun!

Gorgeous PBP! Saint-Germain DP is such a lovely area! I hope you are having a great time in Paris!

Thank you bostonjetset. I'm having a wonderful time.

Oh Pocketbook Pup, good gracious what a fantastic picture! That is just as cool as cool can be. As you probably already know, I have Les Triples too. All the little scenes are just so charming, but my favorite is one you highlighted as you sat in the very same restaurant - the triplets with Mom and her endangered Kelly, LOL. If chocolate milk got that close to mine I'd be sweating bullets :sweatdrop:

I hope you continue to have a wonderful time in Paris!

Oh, I think you should totally try the halter top! :graucho:

Thank you TT.... Oh my, no I'm well past the age when a tank top would be appropriate. The spanx might show through. I loved your cute photo of the scarf bikini too though.

I forgot all about wanting this grail scarf until I saw it recently (but in the wrong cw). Hopefully this post will flush one out at a reasonable price? Let's see if our theory of posting our grails here really works!

Cocottes de soie 70cm in either the burgundy or navy blue cw (the two on the left) in this pic.

I'm glad this thread was revived, and I hope that it doesn't make the market go sky high!

It's been fun reading about everyone's grails - Turandot, ExLenK are so gorgeous! It's funny how some designs became grails immediately (like C'est la Fete or La Femme aux Semelles de Vent) and others are dark horses that become grails later.

I have one grail but I'm virtually certain none of the CWs from the original issue would work on me, so I'm making regular offerings to the H gods for a reissue. Being a great lover of both Annie Faivre and ballet, Les Ballets Russes is my HG, but only in a flattering CW :smile1:

This is such a beautiful grail. I had this exact piece once, but stupidly sold it when I wasn't wearing 90cm. I would gladly have it again. A new grail for me!

No, I have been on a little quest lately to get my grails out of the way so I stop looking at eBay out of curiosity. Last week I received turandot and ex Libris en kimonos. I bought les triples a few weeks ago. Something else came in the mail today. I have one more in the works and two still on my wishlist and not anywhere to be found. I thought I had a printemps ete 69 last week but the store made a mistake and it was already sold. I'm not sure that I would really label them all grails but things I saved over the past year thinking they were nice and I kept coming back to them in my mind. It was a longer list but I definitely looked hard and decided which ones I wanted the most. Here are the ones I received already.

All 3 are beyond fabulous!

Les Triples would look awful on me, but growing up I used to wait for the weekly magazine they came in (Figaro Madame) just to see the new strip, so it's a favorite design still. And while I'm partial to the Cafe de Flore myself (best hot chocolate!), I love the little Deux Magots scene too!

Ok I promised to reveal why les triples was a Grail for me. Can you tell from this? My favorite people watching spot for lunch. It's a beautiful sunny day and I'm in heaven. View attachment 3169911

That's so cute!

Oh I must try the hot chocolate. It's a bit warm here now-60. I love when it's chilly. Next time maybe.

Thank you! I'm quite silly when it comes to Paris.

Considering those of you with lovely, grail -filled collections, what are some of the most iconic Hermes patterns?

I immediately think of brides de gala, ex libris, and les cles.

What would be considered "must haves"?

This should be an interesting discussion. Different people will have very different reasons, which I'm intrigued to hear. My grails have nothing to to with the classic iconic patterns because I was very surprised to learn I don't gravitate toward them. Year of India scarves are grails for me because I lived there for a couple of years and because what a year of beauty it was! But I don't love them all, so they're not all grails for me.

Really looking forward to this discussion. What makes a grail for you texasgirligirl?
