I know i'm :btdh: but thought i'd ask again. After several years, i am still pining for the vintage Kelly en Caleche in the black/white/red colourway. Would also love the cheval sur mon carre in the black/grey/white cw and the bolduc au carre in the black/white/grey cw. Thanks for listening. Why oh why did i embark on this scarf journey......

First of all, I have to say that I LOL at that emoticon. I've never seen it before! And with this forum and the H horse theme...even funnier!

I also would like A Cheval sur Mon Carre in cashmere, any colorway.

Aww, I've got this one too! And I've got the kitty to go with it. (Which is why I wanted the scarf in the first place.) :)

My husband got the photo by accident while I was traveling. He'd never seen the scarf and had no idea why my jaw dropped when he showed me the piccie... :nuts:

I got one of my grail scarves this week, at the sale out of all places, after roaming so many shops and never finding the right cw...
Cheval sur mon Carre .. A pic below

Now I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a very special Rencontre Oceane carre!!

Wow, cool thread! My grail is Pythagore, preferable in cashmere (see avatar) or any c/w would be great. I'm a-lookin'! Oh, and if there's a grail twilly, it is the Kuna I just lost on evilbay:crybaby:

Oh, how I covet that Cave Felim! Every time I see it, I swear I will have the willpower to resist it. It's so hard! And that scarf is so beautiful!

Dang it, it's back on the list! My kitties will never forgive me if i don't represent them in silk!

I wanted to post about the two (!) scarves I found in my grail design, Pavement--I got the second one back in December but finally took a picture of it today. Navy blue/brown:

But now I need a new grail, right? To continue with the theme of Roman mosaics (DH and I met in Rome, and we were both classics majors, so I love this stuff), I am on the hunt for Mosaique, a Grygkar design from the 1950s. Here is a pic from luxury-scarves.com; a few ladies on the forum have found it as well (I have spent way too much time trolling old posts, can you tell?) in colorways with color in them. I like color, but with this one I won't be picky.

I've seen it a couple of times on eBay, but it's been a while and I had my eye on other things. Now I'm ready to look for this one.

Beautiful Cap!! It's a tie (haha) between you and the scarves! I love seeing real pictures of us and our pretties, the bubble over the face, while I understand it, detracts for me. Brava for being brave:hugs:Good luck with the new grail, will keep an eye out!
