Huh, 2023 was a fabulous bag year, very difficult to decide.
From the purchases this year my favourite is the medium Loewe puzzle. It turned out to be superversatile and easy to use, yet chic. And fits my iPad! Yay for medium bags!

My top two bags that I got in 2023 are my vintage Fendi trapezio and the Michael Kors manhattan contrast trim satchel.
The leather on my Fendi feels incredible and I love how the metallic color looks different depending on the lighting.
The MK bag just feels so fun and cheery IMO. It brightens my day!

I finally bought my first Coach purse this year. It’s a brand I’ve been intrigued by for a while but I never found just the right bag at the right time. Purchased the Brooke Carryall for work and I’m loving it. So I’m going to say this is my bag of the year!

I've been loving and wearing red bags a lot this year, so my Gucci Aphrodite I bought last Dec fits the role of a favourite for '23. Previously, I'd gone for dark reds so the only Aphrodite is the only bright red bag I have, and I have been really enjoying it. Beyond the colour, the leather is beautiful and it's just so versatile.
Shopping from my closet, I pulled out my Navy BV Roma (now 8-ish years old) which has been been much admired anew. I never used to take it to work, but it's actually been really useful.
