When you have already made an appointment with your SA to collect your QB bag and still went over despite getting news of a death in the family... a close family member that is.

I was supposed to pick up with vert d'eau gator MK this morning and before I left to the store I received the sad news. I still went ahead, got to the store, picked up the bag before I headed over to perform the last rites for my beloved aunt (she has no children and I am her only niece).

I just went home to have a rest but yet took out the bag to admire her and take a photo to share with you all.

I don't dare share this with anyone but feel safe to do it here.

I'm so sorry for your loss!
Don't judge yourself here. You're self-soothing. You got a shocking bit of news and quickly leant on the diversion of the pretty bag to distract your mind as you process.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Give yourself grace. Grief is a process and everyone goes through it differently and at their own pace. I don’t think it’s that your actions are proof H addiction but rather you’re processing a loss of a loved one and you went through the motions, because as humans, we take comfort in routine and the known. Sending you hugs :heart:

Or more simply when you buy… to protect your iPad… an H cover that cost the same amount as the iPad :smile: (and 🤫 pssss… don’t tell anyone I’ve got two iPads protected by two H covers: one for the Pro and the other for the Mini version).
Or when you need that H etoupe leather bookmark to mark the page you are reading of a book 😇
