1. Birkin 30 - pretty daytime tote
2. Chanel 2.55 reissue in black with their dark silver hardware (rhodium?) bc we need something for formal dinners and this bag can be both nice and under the radar since it has a mademoiselle clasp.
3. Neverful MM bc we all need a workhorse tote, plus it comes with a wristlet in a pinch

for my imaginary life:
I love the Chanel reissue and I tend to wear my newest one more than the older ones (so black chevron mini), but i don’t actually wear any of them as much as Hermes.

IRL:
honestly though, now that clutches are small, I could get by with just my BB kelly longue phw wallet; my keys on a lanyard; my cell and phone in cargo pants.

Right now i would choose these….

BV Nero Nodini tied with Rouge H Box K32

(Strong runner ups…..Speedy 30, Orchid Mini Cabat, & Nero Galuchat Knot)

Okay if I can do 5 I can do all from my existing collection:
- Longchamp Le Pliage Leather black tote size L (for travel and work)
- LV Pochette Metis in reverse monogram (day to evening-ish, crossbody, functional and holds everything, matches my wardrobe well)
- LV Petit Malle in silver and black Epi (evening silver bag)
- Dior Mini Miss Dior in gold (evening gold bag)
- Chanel large Boy in black (day to night bag, though I would ideally like to switch this out for a black classic flap in M/L because I think it has greater longevity than the Boy. But if switching isn’t allowed I’ll manage).

If I HAVE to keep it to 3:
- LV Grand Palais in monogram: it’s big enough to function as a work/travel bag (fits a laptop and charger, is fully zippable for security), smart enough that you CAN carry it about in the day
- Chanel small classic flap in black (day to night bag, small enough that it can work for black tie events as well)
- LV Petit Malle in silver/metallic gold Epi (for the evening - I have seen this bag, it’s a discontinued one but I know it exists!) or, alternatively, a Lady Dior in silver and gold (I have only seen this on less reputable sites though). My preference would be for the Lady Dior so I have one of each brand.
