If I could only have 3 bags, I would choose: 1) a large tote bag for work/travel...most likely an LV neverfull...basic but functional/durable; 2) a black shoulder bag that can take me day to night...I would go for my Chanel reissue 226 in the ruthenium hardware...so versatile; and 3) a beige/nude color bag that I can wear in the summer, to weddings, and special occassions...maybe the Bulgari serpenti bag in the pink/nude color.

Only three bags is a minimalist mind experiment for me.

• Chanel Reissue 226 - lightweight, day to night, dressy to casual, can wear it crossbody or on the shoulder (double strapped or single strapped), I have red and black, I choose black quilted calfskin with ruthenium hardware for this game
• Hermes Bolide 31 - clean lines/classic shape, spacious day bag, can wear it on the shoulder with the strap or carry by the handle, mine is in etain clemence
• Hermes Evelyne III PM (29) - casual crossbody, spacious, external pocket for easy cell phone access, the most frequently carried bag in my bag wardrobe, etoupe clemence, also the bag I carried today

That covers a shoulder bag, a hand held and a crossbody bag. My favourite and most frequently carried bags are versatile (in how I can carry them and what I can wear them with), have great leather, fit what I carry and fit my lifestyle.

Ooh! From my own collection it would be the Celine Phantom Cabas, Gucci Soho, and YSL Monogram Cabas... Just on a practical level they hold a lot, can be dressed up or down, love the look, and are super comfy!

If I could only keep three of my own bags, it would be my Tods tote for work, my turquoise Birkin for spring/ summer days off and my Moynat Pauline for Autumn/ Winter days off. If I still had a social life I’d ideally need a fourth bag for evenings out though!

I have none of the following as I lately sold my bag and currently start over again.

not 100% sure yet, maybe one could help me out:

- 1 understated travel/college tote (currently trying to decide between the YSL Shopping bag & LV Neverfull in Epi - opinions anyone? )

- 1 work bag and for days I have to carry more - Givenchy Mini Antigona or Fendi Mini Peekaboo --> yes, that would be when I have to carry "more" but not as much as I would throw in my tote

- 1 evening bag which can be carried on casual days, too (YSL Kate or Chanel Square Mini)
