Yellow diamond engagement ring?

I would look for fancy intense or fancy vivid yellow with no fluorescence. Blue fluorescence (faint to strong) will make it look less yellow in some lighting conditions. Of course yellow fluorescence may play up the color, but it is less common. Cut makes a difference as well; for example a cushion cut or radiant cut will show color more than a round brilliant or emerald cut for the same specs. Of course there are always exceptions!

Thanks for the tip!! I did not have fluorescence in mind as a factor. Now I'll start to pay attention.

I love coloured diamonds. nothing quite compares to the fire of a diamond.
I have the same tiffany ring as Antique shopper and I have the matching necklace below (yellow orange diamond).

I also have a yellow gold yellow diamond necklace and ring from tiffany and co. the diamonds are on the smaller end but i like wearing them.

i have a no brand yellow heart diamond hubby bought me as a christmas gift one year too. its in platinum and has a white diamond halo.

Wow you have such an amazing collection! I was not a fan of yellow diamond with platinum and halo before but the posts here from you and others definitely converted me :P. The heart ring is so special and beautiful! I actually like smaller diamonds for day to day wear as I'm quite a clumsy person. Thank you so much for the pictures!!

thank you :)
i like smaller diamonds too - they make me feel dainty and elegant haha. loving this thread and i hope you find your special ring xx

Omg! That ring-  - it’s absolutely stunning! Do you have a yellow diamond color preference?
The ring is eye-opening :nuts:. Now I more struggles!! I really like how rich in color the orange yellow looks. I also wonder like AntiqueShopper, if you have a preference .
If I had the money I would invest in a Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond. I prefer the orange undertone as opposed to the brown/green undertone. Really adds a pop of color! Cut is also very important when buying a colored stone. TBH, I looked at a lot of yellow diamonds!

Thank you for your insights! I can definitely feel you have looked at many if not too many :P.
