Lol oh honey ~ I'm a mother of 2 in my 40's (I'm guessing by your posts MUCH older than you) I am quite past following any "trends"... just curious about how others make dark ebene look more summery ~ if you have no desire to bounce ideas around, chat with other purse-lovers, and already think you know everything... why in the world are you on the Purse Forum?

I love your thread! It's making me excited for summer :D

I don't think Ebene in the summer is effortless. I would definitely consider my outfit before I grabbed it. White, neutrals, black and brown all look gorgeous with Ebene.

I pretty much enjoy using my Azurs and lighter colored bags in the Spring/Summer, and My Monos, Damier Ebenes, and other darker bags in the Fall/Winter. I personally never really carry my Damier Ebene in the summer, and that is why I have 2 Evas (one in Azur and one in DE).! It's all part of my overall rotation and also keeps me excited about getting out certain bags.

Maybe that's why I'm getting an icky feeling about it! Those thick dark straps and I'm imagining my halters and tanks and the sun heating them up!... hmmm~ thanks! I'll keep trying on the Bloomie to see what's comfortable and still looks 'light and fresh' :D I think a hand-held would be great though I'm going to think about that some more.

Maybe the thick straps in dark brown are the issue....that makes sense....I think the Eva with skinny brown strap is good and then the Speedy is no straps...I saw a good preloved Ebene speedy just show up:graucho:

I wear all my purses all year round :smile1:
Here are some of my pics wearing my Damier Azur/Ebene in Spring, Summer and Fall :graucho:
