Would you carry a Damier Ebene LV in spring/summer?

The only ebene bag i own is the eva and i will wear her in the summer without hesitation. I will see ladies with ebene neverfulls and speedies in the summertime as well.

i don't think that being dark brown relegates ebene bags to cold weather months. Just my two cents

Ooh thanks everyone I didn't even know this thread was still going! Yep I'm over the hesitation lol... I think I was hung up on the Westminster/Saleya styles particularly being so "heavy" looking to wear with shorts and tanks etc.. it didn't seem right to me. But the Neverfull is so casual tote-ish~ I am going for that bag this Spring. And like someone mentioned before too, a bandeau on it might be even better to lighten it up for a Spring/Summer wardrobe! I also agree the Eva would be very nice in the hotter months. Thanks again!!

Ebene is year-round for me. I think that clothes and shoes are seasonal, but bags aren't (with the exception of bags that have any fur or shearing on them. Those are the only bags I would classify as purely fall/winter bags.)

Some people certainly wear it all year.

Anyhow, I agree that Damier ebene can be used all year long. A lot of women only have one purse that they use all year round and it's typically black or dark brown so I don't find wearing damier ebene odd at all.

I can see the classics in ebene working well during summer (speedy, alma, neverfull etc.), the dark pattern with white is a gorgeous combination.
I think Ebene can also look quite nice with pastels/neutrals like apricot, camel, light summer greys, beiges and nudes.

I wear it all year round but there are definitely bags I prefer to carry in the summer (Azur, bright coloured Bals... etc).
