I usually get my workout clothes from Marshall's, TJ Maxx and Target.
Sometimes, Macy's and Sports Authority will have a good deal or something really cute I have to have (lol!).
Also, during Nordstrom's anniversary sale I typically pick up some Zella leggings or something from Nike or Under Armour (depending on what is offered).

Forever 21! I got a few sports bras with zipper front for less than $15 not too long ago. Even one sale they are $30 plus at Victoria Secret.
You should go to an Outlet and buy Nike or Under Armour.

I am a regular at my Gym, three times a week and my Nike pants always last up to 2 years a pair! Go for anything Dri-Fit or Combat

TKMaxx works for me. You have to go regularly and check the racks but I've found fabulous stuff at huge discounts. Used to go to the outlets but haven't found anything recently. My studio has seasonal discounts on the small selection they carry as a courtesy for their clients. You never know where a dale all will show up.
I guess it really depends on what type of working out you do and what your definition of "inexpensive" is, but I like Zella (especially when it is on sale). I've had some of their pants for almost a year and they look brand new!

I have a lot of Zella workout gear which I purchase from Nordstrom. I had about 6 pairs of the live in capris in multiple colors and just purchased another 6 pairs of the black live in capris during the anniversary sale ($28.90 ). I also have about 8? colors of the Z5 tee which i love. Lululemon also has cute stuff but is so pricey. I like the price of the Zella much better and I think the quality is great for the price. If you are in the US, the anniversary sale is still going on at Nordstrom and they have some Zella items on sale.
