I'm so bummed if anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears. I made a pretty expensive mistake, for what it is. I bought not one but two pairs of Alo Goddess leggings in a size M...and I am a small. Not only am I a small but I am a short small. I can't return them so now I am stuck. I have a pretty extensive workout wardrobe so I keep telling myself it's ok I'll wear them around the house, for errands, walking/running/biking when it's chilly out...but I wore them today and they are just big. Should I try and shrink them by putting in dryer, I read they don't shrink though, but maybe in the dryer? Hem them a little? So sad. I bought the first pair thought they were ok and picked up the second without trying, which I never do. The first pair is kinda ok but the second is def not. I'm 5'2" 115-120 depending. Any suggestions? :( (PS I let some mean "girls" at gym convince me I was a medium, and I'm in my 50's,)

I am not familiar with this brand, but I believe workout clothing will not shrink after wash. Hem them won't work either since the width of hip and thigh area are too big to. How about sell them on eBay? I did a quick eBay search. This brand has market there.

Do you have the energy to sell them? eBay , poshmark, mercari or something like that? You may not make all your money back though

Probably not. If I could list all the things I'd love to sell on eBay...but you hear the horror stories and think is it worth it? I did wear a pair to put on after hot yoga yesterday (hate to leave in wet clothes). If they were just shorter. I use to wear Hard Tail and because they were cotton jersey if I was lazy I would just cut the hem. Don't you think I can do that with the jersey ribbed part of the bottom of the pant or no?

Lulu does free hemming, maybe that would help you? There also is a large community on FB about selling Lulu and it's not nearly as overwhelming as FB! It's a invite only page...

I just got a sports bra from Jogha and it is so stylish and comfortable! I love Duskii too. I just ordered a sports bra from them. I haven't seen it on person but on photos it looks great

PV body that changed to Ellie was pretty good. But lately they haven't sent out notifications so I stopped subscription to them. Currently I'm purchasing Zella from Nordstroms. I feel like they wash really well. I have several pairs and use them almost on a daily basis and find that they still retain their compression. After 2 years of hard use, I'm barely seeing one pill now.

Alo fits pretty true to size. I am sorry I don't think it will shrink enough for you. I am sorry this happened to you. Do you have a tailor you could perhaps tak them to? Then again, sometimes the cost of alternations is costly enough that it almost isnt worth it. Best of luck.

I am a big fan of:
Body Language
Prism Sport
Vesteem
Alo
Strut-this
UpVibe
Nina B Rose
Heroine Sport
Michi (more for Pilates type workouts than intense like HIIT).
I find all these fit true to size and I have not had issues.

I did the unthinkable...I cut them! They were actually pretty comfy just too long and I knew they were too big to work out in so I cut the legs to a better length! I use them to change into after hot yoga or wear around the house. I'll probably get the hen stitched but at least I can wear them in comfort now. Lesson learned, I'm a small, 99% of the time anyway! And they look really good tucked in to boots.
