i scored a pair of true religion johnny jeans for eighty dollars originally. im a size 25 so they sell out very quickly - i believe their restock day is wednesday but i would call and check! saks is not bad either - i scored a pair of seven for all mankind jeans for eighty dollars - the original boot cut.
I love the Chanel outlet, never know what you will find. I've gotten a number of accessories in their 50% off outlet price case. I also purchased a handbag in the $1,000 price range, lots of shoes. still expensive stuff, but obviously less than retai. lots of clothes too. we still have NY state sales tax though. i live nearby so i pop in occasionally.
My mom and I were just comparing the new NJ Tinton Fall outlets to Woodbury Commons. Based on the reviews I've heard so far, Woodbury is probably a much better choice than Tinton Falls. My mom was quick to throw in "yeah, but you still have to pay NY tax at Woodbury." Tax can definitely be a factor when you are trying to figure out a "good bargain" but, these days, gas is such a factor too (although, thankfully, not as big of a factor as it was just a few months ago).
Has anyone ever shopped at the Chanel or Balenciaga stores at Woodbury Commons? I was shocked to find out that these two stores had outlets. I believe the Chanel store will place and send phone orders, but Balenciaga only sells instore. How are the stores? Are they fabulous????????????????
i was just there - balenciaga never has any motorcycle bags, a lot of rtw and this past weekend they had gold and silver metallic bags (sorry, dont know the names). chanel has a lot of rtw and is hit or miss in terms of bags/jewelry/shoes. they just had a lot f bags there, but mostly old season random bags
they're just like any other outlet. hit or miss.

I was just there this past weekend. Chanel is okay. It's really hit or miss... they were having a decent sale. Balenciaga was a waste of time. All they had were metallic bags and a skimpy assortment of RTW. I did do well at the Dior outlet though 
It is really hit or miss when you go there.. one time fabulous things the next time

Has anybody been to Woodbury recently ? Any idea of how the prices/ sales are during recession? Is it better time to get deals. I am looking for Chanel, Gucci , Jimmy Choo, Valentino , Pucci etc etc....only the high end designer stuff
Am thinking of going for Thanksgiving sale this year....any tips ? Mostly interested in Bags and shoes in these brands
