How Fortunate That I Live Fifteen Minutes Away. My Husband Is Always In Disbelief That People From Around The Country And The World Plan Trips To Come Here. I Use It As A Mall Since The Only Mall In The General Local Vicinity Is Crap! The Juicy Outlet Does Stink. I Get Better Discounts On Line On More Current Nicer Stuff. They Only Dis**** 20%. Occasionally Some Things Are On Sale But They Are The Dregs. I Wonder If Some Of The Stuff Is For The Outlet Since I Have Never Seen Much Of Their Stuff Anywhere Else.
Many Of The Stores Do Carry Their Own Outlet Only Merchandise, So Beware. You Should Know Prices First.
I Love Elie Tahari. Gorgeous Stuff And Less Than Retail. At The End Of The Season It Is Quite Picked Over.
I Get Good Deals At Cole Haan. Ugg Is Retail Priced Mostly. I Like The 2 Cosmetics Outlets. One Carries Bobbi Brown. At The Other I Recently Bought Kiehls Shower Gel For $7 Each.
Some Of The Less Prestigious Brand Stores Have Really Great Discounts. I Recently Did Well At Tumi.
Also Make Sure To Pick Up A Coupon Book There. I Get Mine For Free With My Aaa Card.
Also, Never Go On A Holiday Weekend Unless You Have A Death Wish, And All Weekends Are Pretty Horrendous.
Hi,

Saw your thread, just wondering if you are still staying near the woodbury common outlets. If you are, please drop me an email. Thanks.

I am planning to make a trip to Woodbury on Wednesday 9/8 ... I knew the Labor sale will over by then but I just want to see the look of outlet that people are talking and visit all the time. I'm from Boston and I will take a bus or taxi, which is the best transportation should I take?. Do you think it is worthy for me to go there?

Woodbury always crowds?

TIA

Hey. I couldn't find a thread about this but has anyone been to the woodbury common's outlet recently? Any good deals? Like in Burberry or Gucci? I'm looking to go within the next few weeks but i would like to know if its worth it since its quite far.

Thanks!! :)

I went a few weeks ago with my mom and wasn't very impressed. People were crammed into some of the stores (I'm looking at you, Tory Burch,) and fighting over things that weren't even as well priced as the online sales.

Other shops, (I'm looking at you, Marni,) had employees who were in the back, eating repulsive food and not even wearing shoes... ignoring us while they told crude jokes with the security guard. Just.... wow.

The only store I would make the trip back there for was Allsaints and some of the CCO shops. I got a ton at Allsaints and they had adorable workers who were super sweet (and amazingly true to the shops aesthetic.) Barneys also had some nice stuff. I picked up Dries Van Noten sandles and stopped dead in my tracks that they had a Balenciaga city bag.

To be honest, I prefer surfing Gilt and the like for sales. However, as my mom noted, at least at the Commons, you know you will always find a certain brand you are looking for.

Honestly, the last few times I took the trip up there I was disappointed -- with the last time being the worst -- about 2 months ago --- I left with 1 pair of Lululemon pants and that was it -- its gone downhill IMO - I used to leave there with a truck full of items a few years ago. Even the decent stuff they do have isnt priced well enough to make it a bargain or even worth the trip -- I wont be making the trip up there any time soon

Hey guys,

I'm going to NYC for the very first time the first week of December. I've always heard about the Woodbury Commons Outlets and how they have Chanel, Dior, Gucci and many other premier designer stores there. I found a bus tour that would take me there, but would last most of the day. So my question is would it be worth my time to spend an entire day there? It's not like I can't afford to shop at the regular non-outlet stores I just love a bargain, but saving only a couple hundred bucks isn't considered a bargain to me and I'm not a label whore so even if something is Chanel if it's ugly then I'm not buying it. I just don't want to show up all excited and everything be hideous and still expensive and waste a whole day. Thanks!
