Just treat it like an adventure.. a treasure hunt if you will.. I scored some great Escada tank tops at 90% off!!!!!!! $8 for a great quality item.. cheaper than WalMart and (hopefully) better quality.

if you are open-minded and don't mind digging a bit, there are some real bargains to be had.

Have fun!!!!!

Wow, Chanel closed?! When I went in Dec, the store had very little merchandise, but nothing was up indicating that it would be closing.

Yes, Chanel closed and they are in the middle of doing remodeling on Saks Off Fifth @ Woodbury - it looks like they are subdividing the store and the selection of shoes and bags in particular has been thinned out. I went up a couple weeks ago, and there were more empty storefronts than I've ever seen up there.

i went there over the summer and i didnt find any it was really disappointing, at least the view driving up there was nice

That's the big problem with Woodbury. It's hit and miss very often. If you have regular stores to frequent you can usually have goodluck. I love Brooks Brothers, Kate Spade, Furla, Brighton,Lonchamps, Swarovski, Ralph Lauren,Carters, and a few others. I think Dooney and Bourke left as did Chanel (which only ever had about 15 pieces of merchandise!) Gymboree is good, too, and a few of the jewelers have good merchandise, not so highly discounted, but good quality at a somewhat decent price!

Aww, I'm so sad Chanel is no longer at Woodbury!! I'm going to NYC in March, and was planning to go to Woodbury to check out the Chanel outlet :(

The Chanel outlet never really had much anyways. I always went there hoping to get a good deal on a bag but never found any that I really liked. Their store was always empty too. Not only was there nobody inside, but they didn't have a lot to sell.

I agree! Chanel only had like 15 things for sale! Maybe had like 1 bag and the rest were accessories.
