I wasnt very manly in high school. I was a bit of a tomboy, does that count?

Plus, "emo/goth" kids wear them in this area and I dont think they either of those things.

This is so funny...even though I am American, I think of suspenders as a garter belt (the curse of living internationally)...and are braces suspenders or are they for your teeth...thank you for providing the photo to clarify things!

I can not erase the memory of when my uncle came to visit me in England just after I moved there…we went to Marks and Spenser to buy some suspenders and a matching tie…we were a little confused, to say the least, when the salesman tried to contain his laughter and sent us to the lingerie area!

I think suspenders are fine for ladies….! And for men…to each his own!

lol The fact that it drew attention to the chest is one of the reasons why a friend of mine liked the look. Personally thats not why I like them, and even if I did there wouldnt be much to look at I am just a small person, lol.
