You should contact resort and ask what bottles are on their list for rieslings!

Good idea but we didn't have it at the resort. We had it at one specific restaurant that we went to a couple of times (was amazing.) Too bad I can't remember the restaurants name either! :-s
 
Been on the hunt for it ever since but have never come close. Every Riesling I try is generally sweet. Once in a while I'll get a semi dry. Nothing like what she ordered though.

That surprises me.
Yes, decades ago Riesling tended to be cheap and sweet.

But now the large majority of German Riesling is dry. And not always cheap.

Maybe sweet and cheap Riesling is still mostly exported - because in other countries one expects German Riesling to be sweet and cheap - which it isn't.
