Why this forum is so quiet - a year later

This forum is really quiet. There does not seem to be much going on when it comes to BE. I love my BE bags it is the only brand I have. The last BE bag I bought is a Stockholm Tote in grey snakeskin. I love the style and if they still had it I would consider buying it in red. They have not come out with any bags recently so I suppose I will have to be content with what I have.
I am actually surprised this forum has not been archived. Has anyone heard anything more about the future of BE?
Nothing from BE except those posts every now and again on Facebook on what bag would you like for Spring and what is your favorite style of bag. All these posts but no news on what they are planning to do for Spring. There was nothing over fall either. Not sure what is happening to BE but from what I am seeing not much!!!
Melissa, yes, it is a bit odd that with so little activity that the forum is still open. No collections last year and nothing on the horizon that anyone knows about for SS14 either.
Hi all, I haven't posted in ages and I hope you're all well. I have heard rumors that there are possible spring/summer bags to be revealed and to hang tight. So hopefully not just a rumor as I would be very sad to see this brand go. It is late for that so who knows but maybe keep our eyes open. Cheers.
That is very exciting! I still miss BEC, what a different and exciting concept that was. I like knowing that no one else has my exact bag
I am really pleased to hear there might be something new in the Spring. I was waiting to see what was going to happen to BE. There might be hope after all. Although I agree on the trend chasing they cannot compete in that market space. They should go back to what they are known for different styles, good quality and reasonably prices!!!
haha of course their e-mails were all fluff and no substance! nothing ever became of their e-mail that said they'd have a new line, new BEC, new products in a "few weeks". It's been over HALF a year since then.
I'm done with BE quite honestly - i feel like why bother? no new bags, just empty promises on the facebook page and on the website.
Don't know how they pay the bills these days - it's certainly not by selling bags -- there aren't any!

Finzup, agreed.
No new styles, the same old stock and at the same high prices despite it not shifting. No sales and the only bags on sale have sat and sat on their website for years.
It's a shame but I think it's over for BE, especially since the atelier they used now has gone on his own. They could find another one I'm sure but who knows?
No honesty with their customers, the assumption that we will just wait until they get things sorted out and those completely inane posts on their Facebook page are just annoying and don't really reflect Luxe or high end customer service which they always claimed were their USP.
They made a big mistake dumping the leathers we liked, jacking the prices up and closing BEC.

I miss BE bags - there were a few I never got around to buying then never got the chance. Does anyone know what happened with BE and their atelier? Is this why they are no more?
I am still hoping that BE Bespoke to resume ..I really love my BEs and no other brands compare so far...
Hi Jenny just caught up with your post on the BE forum about replacement hardware - don't know if yiu know a brand called Mautto in the U.S. (Online) they produce replacement straps in stock and to order, from memory some of the straps have the O ring similar to that in Be bags, also the claw clasp like on BEs Hug me.. So don't know if that would help you esp as Be Re closing and I imagine they are just flogging off the last few bags and won't be there in future.. I ordered a replacement strap for my Hermes Evelyn from Mautto they were great, very reasoNble prices and good quality. I hope this helps, laura x
