NM- I found the answer to my question by going back in the thread a few pages.

These are two photos I got from the Bal Boutique. The reddish brown one was called Moutarde by the SA even though it is nothing like the Moutarde for the bags. The lighter one, she called Camel even though the lighter one looks more like the Moutarde for the bags. I questioned this and she said, "I know". Not really sure if she had the color names right or not. I'd be interested to see what the other boutiques call them.

The last photo shows them together wit Khaki.

As I'm typing it's 47 degrees outside (and windy), you know what that means...it's even colder? Yes I'm wearing a Moto (the beige one to be exact). I also have my fire place roaring (the house is really cold since I'm not running the heater). All I can say is that my beige moto feels like smooshy fragrant leatha silk!! She IS my security blanket!!

I see a Bal jacket on eBay now that's black and a size 36. I think it's been there for a while and hasn't sold. I thought Bal jackets sold well on eBay. The price is $2999. Is it because of the small size and the inflated price?

I would think so. A 36 is very small (in this jacket), and at that price it´s just insane IMO.

Me thinks it will sell for the requested price...now if it was b/s or g/s it would be gone by now. But the b/b is very desirable as well KWIM.

36 is small i.e. size 2-4 but those sell out too?

Do you think this is camel or muscade? Note the brass zippers...or is it something else?

Dasha's jacket is '07 biscuit (note the leather part on the zipper pull is pinched at the bottom NOT near the zipper pull like on jackets '08 to present). The zippers are actually silver but look brass because of the flash. This pic is from the same night/event and you can see that the zippers are silver:

Katie Holmes' jacket is the same color as Dasha's (better pic of the color in daylight):

Hi girls. I'm on the lookout for a black jacket in a size 40, and will take just about any zipper color. If anyone knows of such a jacket, please do let me know. I'll post under the shopping category as well. TIA!

Until I examined my jackets I was confused over the highlighted statement. Balenciaga should have kept the rivet towards the bottom of the pull because those puppies separate and layer out. I wonder why they did that?

Kobro, you should be able to pick up a 40 likely that it will have bronze zippers which is lovely, check DF, Net a porter, Browns, Matches etc if you are based in the USA you will have to call around but your should be able to find one. Good luck!!
