When you click to get details on the stardust pouch, the link appears to be broken. Did you notice that? I actually e-mailed Bal about a week ago to see if it was available and never heard back! I was maybe going to ask for the pouch as a Xmas present from the parents...I hope I can track one down!

it's definitely worth it. i hope it fits. i am i can fit into 4's and 6's so I ordered a 38. it was definitely not a responsible purchase on my part either but hopefully something i won't regret!

ah i didn't go to the details but good luck on receiving it as an xmas present!

^^ I hope it fits too! I'm a 4 and ordered the 38 but some I hear would size up to 40. I'm hoping it stretches a bit. I know people are sizing as though they won't zip it; I know it looks best unzipped but wouldn't wanna spend close to 3000$ on a jacket that I can't zip up! So, I'm a little worried it will be tight on me...but I couldn't find the 40 anyhow so this was my only choice!

I'm nervous though. I've had a pit in my stomach for the debt I charged up on this, plus being worried it might not even fit. But, I also had a pit in my stomach if I wasn't going to buy the jacket!

I've never owned such an expensive piece of clothing before and all my bags are half this or less! I feel like i'm going to be afraid to wear it!!

plus now i'm wondering if I should have tracked down the navy instead! If I can only have one, I thought black...but navy's a nice neutral too! oh so tough. NO WAY can I have both--Kay, I'm so jealous of you!!!!

okay, another update....the BAL SA in Bev Hills just told me they are getting more black jackets in January but they will have the black zipper (????) I said I thought the current ones already have the black zipper and she said all the ones they got had brass zippers. again, Shoo is so friggin confused....

Rachey, when you get your jacket, and if you love it, then you must scrutinize your handbags - if you have to sell two of them in order to be comfortable owning the jacket - then sell two of them. You can always buy them back later. You can only carry one handbag at a time. Keep the ones that are the most functional for you, and let the rest go. This jacket is something you can wear everyday in the fall and spring (depending upon where you live). I'm letting go of some of my bags and designer clothes in order to justify buying my two new jackets!

Customs duty - anticipate about 10% of the purchase price if they ship via fed ex. When I buy from Luisaviaroma and Bal paris, it works out to about 10% of the purchase price on leather goods. HTH.

I've had things shipped from Prada in Capri via UPS, and I didn't have to pay customs duty. That was a happy day! :)

Oh Shoo, I'm so sorry that you can't find your size in the U.S. If I see or hear of any black jackets, I'll pm you right away.

I thought all the current stock in the U.S. had the black leather/black zipper combo. But I am certainly not privy to all the secrets that Bal has concerning their stock.

I also couldn't figure out how to order something from that site. I think maybe you need to call?

Navy is awesome! But, it's an expensive jacket and there should be NO settling!!! If you have your heart set on black, go for black. If the SA says theyre getting more in in January and you can wait, then do it. But, I also think that people will be returning and in the near future, if your persistent enough, you should be able to track down black in your size.

I know nothing about the zipper stuff, but I know that it looks gorgeous no matter what color the zippers are.

the SCP SA is calling the Bev Hills SA to see what she was talking about because she says they are NOT getting any more in January and perhaps she was speaking of a black jacket that does have brass zippers but it is ruched at the top and is a completely different jacket!!!! :cursing:
also, that Department Femine e-mailed me back with a "product key" code I was supposed to use when ordering so I submitted my request AGAIN. we'll see. I'm really beginning to think I'm not supposed to have this jacket! :pout:
