The boutiques in Paris still have plenty of leather jackets left, but unfortunately they don't ship internationally.

Would love one too!!. But I have so many things in my wishlist, that can't fit this jacket in it right now. But who knows, I may be changing my mind.

Congrats! I'm excited for the jacket though this was probably the most irresponsible thing I've done. I'm gonna be paying this off for a while....so, I hope it's worth it!

When you click to get details on the stardust pouch, the link appears to be broken. Did you notice that? I actually e-mailed Bal about a week ago to see if it was available and never heard back! I was maybe going to ask for the pouch as a Xmas present from the parents...I hope I can track one down!

Winterbaby, lovelygarments, Wildisthewind - I'm glad you managed to order this jacket via Department Feminin! And I'm expecting tons of modeling pics once you get them ;) I actually have the suede version of this jacket, which I got last season and as some have mentioned, the Bal leather jackets are thicker and warmer than the usual ones, so hopefully you'll get a lot of wear out of them.

lovelygarments - in person, I actually find the navy to be almost more versatile than the black. Much like officier, the navy gives all-black outfits an extra pop and contrasts nicely with other colors (then again, if you have both colors, you're in a win-win anyway!:smile1:).

Incidentally I also saw the stardust metallic one in Printemps and it's stunning. From afar I thought it was a gray at first and it doesn't show scratches like the lighter leather jackets.

I think you can find online calculators that will give you a duty tax quote based on the price of the item and where it's being shipped from/to. If I'm not mistaken, couriers like UPS/FedEx sometimes have these on their website. Just do a search for it.
