LG, i saw the khaki jacket at the george V, all scratched, i asked the SA, and yes, she told me it was normal agneau skin marks. khaki is the color that has so many marks on, the navy one looked fine to me.

weird-it seems like the darker colors would show the scratches more than the light colors-but if it does not make your heart skip a beat-just return it!

Hi delmilano, thank you for your answer. I am not sure I can love this khaki/olive color with the scuff/scratch marks. Has anyone seen a navy anywhere? Or a brown? Size 40.

I will sleep on this tonight, but I am almost certain this is going back to Barney's.

I welcome everyone's honest opinion on the jacket. :)

Oh-It is really super distressed and not at all the same look as the black-this one seems similar to the grey-I think it makes it look dirty or too rough-If it were mine I would be packing it back up!

So sorry for your disappointment-I know how much adrenaline and energy goes into deciding and awaiting the arrival only to have this disappointment!

Never seen the Navy .... but last time I checked the brown and beige one in size 40 are available at Barneys Las Vegas.

lovelygarments, I'm so sorry you are not completely happy which you should be with this major purchase. I would return it because the leather looks scratched and dull while it should look shiny and supple. If you already have doubts don't justify keeping something you don't love, go with your gut instinct. I hope it all works out for you hon!

ats16, you look great!! :nuts: The jack is awesome on you and the sleeves that I keep reading are too long is just perfect on you!! Would you mind sharing your thoughts on the size that you got and your measurements so to help some of us girls with the size to get? I'm sorry to be so forward but I'm nowhere near a store to try this on. Thanks!!

Thank you, mntncat, and I don't mind at all! I am normally a US size 10 or 12, and I got the jacket in size 44. As mentioned by others, it's a bit too tight to comfortably zip, but I love it unzipped, and otherwise it's perfect. :smile1:
