Thanks ShoeLover! Your comments are great. I have this tendency to order things too big and you helped me to see that if I am inbetween I should probably go with the 38 and not the 40. I think the sleeve length is great on you. I want them to be a little long just not overwhelming.

I love, love, love this jacket. Already sent DH an email from the Bal website hinting that this would be a great present. Love the way the sleeves flare at the wrist. Very chic!

The flared sleeves are one of my favorite things about this jacket.

I think a 38 would be perfect for someone with your height and body weight!

no it is not. size 36 is, not 40 if you use the pull-down menu. I already tried ordering it and it went through only to get an e-mail saying the 40s are gone.

Rachey, I am 5'5" and weigh about 118 - I think the 40 fits me great. I can zip it at my waist, and it will zip over my chest, but my chest smooshes. I don't think it is meant to be worn completely zipped up. If you want to pm me for more info, I can provide you with some measurements.

My green jacket arrived the day before yesterday, and I haven't had a chance to open the box yet. I'll open it later today. Post photos later.

Oh ladies!! This thread is killing me! I went to bed thinking about the black one and woke up stilling think about it. I'm just not sure what size to get..and still debating between black and green. Congrats to all with this super hot jacket and can't wait to see photos!!

O.K., just opened the box from Barney's and I'm confused (and upset) - I hope someone can help me with this. There are scratches all over the jacket - like fingernail scratches. I just took photos - let me edit them, and I'll post so you can see. Are they going to say this is natural distressing? Is that what you would expect to see? Has anyone seen this olive/khaki kind of color IRL anywhere besides the one shown in another thread at Bergdorf's - because that one is all scratched up too.
