I saw the episode and the way I recall it was whoopi said that she had dated a guy 40 years older than herself but I don't recall her saying it was recent....recollections may vary - I didn't read the article aboveit was in 2022 - and yeah her granddaughter said that he was in his 90's!! i wish i could have seen this episode and the look on her face because her granddaughter was spilling all the tea!!

I was watching. I think it came across as rather tone deaf. I think she was trying to be relatable to the audience and say that like them, she worked every day because she needed to. But I have a hard time believing that most of the audience of The View would not retire in a heartbeat if they had Whoopi money in their bank account.Girl, what?
