Holtermann's Bakery on Staten Island is one of the last remaining bakeries in NY to sell these things. They are cardboard-encased desserts and I guess must be very tasty besides looking so cool.
Actually, I used to live in Brooklyn and still visit friends in Staten Island. And yes, I've heard of the bakery. So have many others apparently, since viewers immediately recognized the packaging

I thought Charlotte Russe was a clothing brand… not a pastry. Lol
The dessert came first by decades. The clothing company wasn’t created until the 70s (and almost didn’t survive bankruptcy a few years back).
Staten Island is a cesspool. We don't claim her. Cake or no cake.
She's not letting it drop and wants to have the last word, even though she's just reiterating what she originally said.
