ok here’s mine, I got the “True Blue Alvar" I think it’s called, and my little pets are called Matt and Don.

This is my go-to bag for travel, hiking, beach, water parks, rain, etc… but once I take it out I like to keep it around a few extra days because it’s very comfortable and practical.

I like this bag so much that I decided to buy it in blue because if I had it in black I would probably not need to change purses ever again, and then my hubby starts asking why I have those other bags if I’m so happy with my trusty Kipling :D

The bag has two main compartments, one has a zippered pocket inside, and the other side has sleeves for phone, pens and camera. The front zipper pockets are not as roomy but I use for flat things like lipstick, boarding passes, etc.. to keep a thin profile. The bag is so unstructured that it molds to the body while moving and the strap is very comfortable and easy to adjust to go from crossbody to shoulder easily.

My favorite is the cosmetics case, it has several compartments, I put make up on one side, other knick knacks on the other side, some cash and receipts in the middle zippered one, and the two small pockets in between are perfect for business cards and some sweetener. This little case prevents me from “investing” in a more classy alternative. I like it and it does it’s job, it’s all I need for now. :shrugs:

Best part is I got this on sale at Macy’s plus I had a 20% off pass and it cost me almost nothing, I can’t remember exactly how much but I left the store smiling :D

Sorry I wrote a novel, I just really love my bag. So nice to see other Kipling fans here

Have to quote you and say its the simple pleasures in life that makes us happy. Yeah for your Kipling!!

I just bought my first Kipling. I was looking for a fannypack, and liked the look of the Gucci belt bag. The fact that it was so flat and was meant to be worn low spoke to me. But to me it's too expensive for a bum bag, so I kept looking for something similar and cheaper from another brand. The Kipling Presto is similar enough, yet different enough not to be a copy. When I got it, a family member liked it so much I had to order another for her.

I own a turquoise classic backpack, a dark violet hobo, a red&black small beauty box bag, a white wallet, an army green wallet and a recently bought, preloved leopard print clutch. Couldn't be happier with them, they've gotten much use along the years and none of them are showing signs of wear. Very good value for money - I'm thinking of getting a new large shoulder bag for my summer travels! :smile1:

I just discovered this brand today at Ross. I bought a large nylon tote for $20. I plan to use it as my gym bag / weekender bag / travel bag /grocery shopping bag/ off-roading tote.

I'm glad everyone else has had good experiences with this bag.

I have a crossbody from their city collection that I love. The nylon is different on the city collection and it has some leather accents. I have not seen any from this collection for a while or I would buy more pieces. It is well designed and well made.

I just realized my mom has had a fanny pack from Kipling for years. Right now it's disappeared, so my mom bought the Kipling Presto. But that fanny pack has been on many long trips with me and my mom using it daily for years, and it's still in great condition. Other fanny packs start unraveling after a while, but that one kept ticking. Very impressed!

I love Kipling products and have a lot of them. I've been buying them since Kipling's beginnings back in the 1980s. I have a lot of their suitcases, in various sizes. I also have bags and smaller items. I've found my items to hold up brilliantly and I've dragged them, many times, across every continent in the world.

That's a very nice and practical bag. I think I'm going to order one, lol.

I love this brand! I was introduced to it in 1997 when I was in middle school because my friend had one and she told me that they are good quality and a coveted brand. They were too expensive for me but my mom bought me a neon green mini backpack as a gift and I still have it! Now that I'm much older, I have a slew of large leather designer bags but I find the Kiplings are sooo practical. I have stiff shoulders so they're a joy to carry and they fit a lot, while still remaining light for some reason. Plus you can't go wrong with the water resistant nylon, all the extra pockets and the key clasp! The thing about designer bags is that they're actually so impractical--you cant take them out in the rain, they get heavy and I find I'm always scrambling for my keys or a pen!

Here are some pix of mine but I have a lot more:

  • Sherpa
  • Erasto S in black
  • Reth in Celo Gray
  • Joselyn in Celo Gray
  • Navy blue backpack (don't know the name)
  • Elise in black snake
  • Adara M in black (gave to my mom)
  • Catrin in Monkey Mania Print
  • Purple pouch
  • Dark Purple Pouch
  • 100 Pens Pencil Case
  • Wallet
  • Mini backpack from 1997
  • Sigg water bottle in monkey mania print
  • Dee in the metallic pink colour
  • Lancelot in Vibrant Pink

Presenting my mini kipling family!! A little handbag together with matching pencil and cosmetic case. It feels nice to dress down and carry a kipling once in awhile. Love the durability and the youthful look!

Nice collection!

I'm a huge fan of the Basic Collection by Kipling. When push comes to shove, I grab a Kipling nylon bag for traveling and often times for really rainy days. If you remove the fuzzy monkey key chain, the bags are washable.
