who likes the new Hermes Octagone bag?

May I ask where you found this particular version? I love it with the leather strap in this neutral color, (which appears to be either indigo or noir.)
My DH got it at the NBS H store at London! He was also offered a Cherche Midi, a few Convoyeurs and a Ostrich mini Plume and a Magnolia Octogone with shoulder strap. He wanted to get the Plume too but figured I won't use it much as I don't baby my bags...

Thank you! Perhaps I’ll check with the SA who helped in the PA store and see if she can get one for me. I’m new to Hermes but acquiring specific bags seems to be a bit complicated to me. Perhaps it’s because they offer so many color/leather variations. Or....I just dont understand how their system works yet.

You are welcome! Purchasing online maybe another option, although I don't see this style on the US website currently. They are, however, currently offering the bag in bleu saphir on the UK website. https://www.hermes.com/uk/en/product/octogone-23-bag-H072035CK73/
Good luck:heart:! (Or maybe time to take a break from octogone )

Hi All!

I'm new to Purseforum. I realize the Hermes Octagone bag is not everyone's cup of tea on this particular thread, but I've personally found it to be both uniquely stylish and practical. For me, it's more casual on-the-go. If you have small kids, having that hands-free option is great since you could adjust the strap for a crossbody. I rarely use it as a shoulder bag, although there is that option to adjust the strap for that too.

I like how the Octagone bag brightens up my dark, neutral winter coats. I also like using it for travel and will pair with a bigger tote like my Longchamp or a backpack which works for me.

Here's how I wear it:

Here are a couple other links for inspiration.

You could see how Jennifer Garner wore it:

If you're looking for something more polished, there's the clutch option and this link has some spring style inspiration:

Hope this helps!

It is not popular on TPF. I paid too much for it on the pre-loved market (as in I will have a huge loss if I ever want to sell it). But I had to have it. I thin the Octogone bag may be the best cross-body bag Hermes has done. I know it is controversial and it does lack the option to double the strap which I like with my Roulis - but it holds more, has a cool shape and is so, so easy to use (this is my second one).

I present to you Octogone in Etoupe (I think) chèvre :hbeat:View attachment 6218181

@LouiseCPH :congrats: on your new Octagone! I hope you post more mod shots of your Octagone here including what it fits. :flowers:
