Thank you so much, that is so sweet of you to say. I could never imagine that anyone would be inspired by my collection.I have to tell you that years ago, I saved pictures of your wg collection! The onyx, mop, and turquoise were my favorites! I was too late for Alhambra turquoise, unfortunately, so I had to settle for just a pair of Perlee turquoise earrings! So anyway, I just wanted you to know that your collection was one of the ones that really inspired me!
I am enjoying seeing all the beautiful wg collections on this thread!
I tend to wear the frivole more, not sure why next is the vintage size and I only tend to wear the turquoise sweets (I would have preferred vintage but they are not available in turquoise) when I am wearing the matching necklace, as I have long dark hair the colour does pop even though they are small.Hi! I love your collection. In terms of earrings do you swear the sweet or vintage more? Do you prefer them to the frivole? I have been thinking about all 3 options and was wondering what your opinion was. Your collection is beautiful
Love your collection. Maybe if they come out with WG guilloche in a 20?Thanks for starting the thread! Love looking at all the WG collections. Here’s my contribution, I feel like I am missing a 20 motif? View attachment 5417439
Yes, can’t wait to see that! Am thinking a WG hammered option might work better for me though…Love your collection. Maybe if they come out with WG guilloche in a 20?
I would like either in a 10 motif so I can attach my WG hammered 10.Yes, can’t wait to see that! Am thinking a WG hammered option might work better for me though…

Could I check with white gold owners, which is the longest piece ypu have had and how do you find the white gold holding up?
There were some discussions around white gold vs platinum, i dont own any platinum pieces as i find the color looks more greyish to me and i like white, bright stuff lol. But i am wondering about how VCA white gold ages? Like everything ages, but does it age gracefully such that it still looks beautiful and wearable after 10 yrs, 20 yrs? Lol
Like yellow gold may patina too over many years, so whilst i love white gold pieces recently, i am considering if my wishlist should continue to contain white gold pieces, or stop at what i already have. Lol
I recently fell for chalcedony , and also would love onyx with white gold , if only VCA offered more of such pieces and mix and not having to SO it! I am considering the 10 motif chalcedony to katch with 5 motif onyx pave bracelet
Thank you, this is real helpful, and i believe you're right! I rather do some replating in a piece's lifetime than have to work with more greyish metal that i dont enjoy day to day. I dont use my pieces aggresssively so i shall observe along the way tooI think this depends how often you would wear the WG pieces and how hard you are on them. WG has rhodium plating to make it white & bright which we discussed briefly on this thread (https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/quality-issues-vca.1047374/post-34854701), TLDR; you can replate WG pieces for a $180 fee but VCA's service team will see if your piece really needs one or not because you can only get 3 polishes & replates in a piece's lifetime. Seems like you wouldn't be able to replate without polishing it first.
Honestly 3 polishes & replates per piece in your own lifetime should be more than enough unless you constantly subject your WG pieces to a lot of corroding chemicals like chlorine and scratch them up often (via another bracelet or other objects). If you are worried the WG will not look nice in time I wouldn't let that stop you from purchasing or enjoying WG pieces. I had worn my 6 motif WG pave bracelet for a couple years and never cleaned them at the boutique and I thought they needed a replate because the water where I was living at the time was quite hard with a lot of minerals and turning them dull. Turns out they just needed a good cleaning at VCA and it was sparkling white again without needing a polish/replate! I believe VCA uses high quality rhodium plating that lasts a long time so a polish and replate probably would not be necessary for a long time.

Do you wear your piece 24/7? I usually take off my items when i am home, i just dont like to shower with luxury jewelleries.. and therefore, i also never wear them into swimming pool oceans etc
That’s a really good habit! Seems like you’re pretty light on jewelry so I think it should be absolutely fine and you’ll be able to enjoy your shiny bright WG pieces for a long time before it needs a replate.
I prefer to wear mine 24/7, and I rotate through some bracelets but I do shower with them, even my chalcedony. I take jewelry off for swimming though.
Ah, maybe there will be a time when i will wear my VCA 24/7 haha. Because i rotate btw YG and WG days, depending on my outfit, i think i am quite light on my pieces. Ideally, if i only wear one type of gold, i would probably not take them off.. some of my Hermes or non-VCA bracelets, i may wear 24/7 to shower
