It would seem they make the 10-motif faster than the 5-motif or maybe they always make more of it and keep it in ‘stock’ because it might be one of their most requested MTO? Either way, wish they followed the same rationale for 5-motif! Hope all of us waiting for our hammered pieces get them soon🤞🏼 @nicole0612

That's an interesting idea! Or maybe if they make MTO in batches, not literally MTO, perhaps the 5 motif is more commonly ordered than the 10 motif, so they "run out of" the 5 motif more quickly? It is interesting to guess about the inner workings behind the scenes!

I did not think about that they had some pre made. But they must have given how fast they came. My earrings took a bit longer to come at that time - 3-5 months, can’t remember. I assume the earrings are ordered less option than 10 and 5.

There are very few wg and rg offerings for Alhambra. Which is why I ended up ordering the hammered. At the time the price was similar to guilloche since I ordered right before price increase and guilloche was launch with the price increase in mind. So it softened the cost in my mind. No regrets as I wear the wg hammered a lot. I did not order the bracelet since I prefer stone bracelets to stare at. I don’t think Vca will ever release wg hammered and if they do it will be after 100 more price increase so might be same as what we pay now. If you want it and you can SO then go for it!

It seems almost impossible now to get the hammered pieces! It’s all in ‘production’ but I don’t see any actually coming to the stores. Or maybe some is coming and people getting them don’t post on social media.
I was so over the moon when I received my magic hammered RG earrings in July. Those took around 10 months.

I always assumed VCA makes the motifs and then allocates what they will produce, how many motifs it will take, etc. For instance, maybe they have 9 remaining rose gold motifs so instead of waiting for the next batch to make a 10 or 20, they'll allocate 5 for a bracelet and the remain 4 for two pair of earrings..

WG hammered is not available at all right now. It is either MTO (vintage size) or special order (sweet size); and both MTO and special order are closed until further notice. The Pave Sweet size or Pave vintage size are both available for purchase through the boutique.
