I found this thread by accident and was so happy to see it! I just got my very first white Chanel after much deliberation (erm... 12hrs worth of deliberation??!). This was TOTALLY UNPLANNED and I wasn't planning on adding a white chanel to my collection. But when I saw it in the store... I couldn't say no. I used to think "I'll never get a white Chanel bag... it's too much to pay for something that's going to get dirty and grubby". But I longed for a light neutral bag so got 2 beige minis in the past 2 years. I thought beige bags would be easier to maintain than white ones. But strangely, I hardly ever reached for my beige minis! However, ever since getting this white one, I've used it more than my beige ones. I never realised how versatile and neutral white is! To me, it's more neutral than beige. I would never have guessed.

So... to all who are considering a white Chanel, I say, GET IT. White goes with everything!

Here's my chevron white mini reissue in calf from the 22K collection. Got her around Christmas time last year (2022). Love her to bits!

I understand completely! J have color transfer on my caramel 19 bag just from wearing a green shirt from Zara. I was caught in the rain with it and it got some color transfer. It sliced my heart but now it doesn’t bother me and I am still wearing it. I love white too! It’s on my wishlist for so long. I actually bought a white coco handle but returned it as it had a tear on the back. My SA was so sorry but she recently texted me that there is a white cf in store and asked if I want it. Huge part of me wanted to say yes but I told her I am still scared of white. In fact, I have tried white CFs so many times in the boutique but back down each time. I think one day I may just take the plunge because no other bag is filling that void for me.

I know what you mean TOTALLY! And Chanel prices are so eye-watering at the moment it'd be devastating to ruin a white Chanel bag! Oh no! So sorry to hear about your white bag! Gosh that shouldn't happen, especially when it's just doing nothing sitting in that dust bag!

I was 50-50 about buying this white mini but it was my husband (of all people!) who convinced me to give it a try. He told me if I was so worried about dirtying it, then I should just eyeball it after use and clean it immediately if I spot any dirt or whatever. I always have leather cleaner with me at home so I thought, "Yeah... I can definitely do that...". Plus, this is a mini so there's less leather to dirty compared to a CF in medium. So far so good!

And you're right. Nothing can replace a white chanel. I learnt that lesson after 2 beige minis!

Yes it was horrible and I have tried everything but it’s fine now. My caramel is from 21K. I love it so much and it is also versatile color but nothing beats a nice white summery/spring bag!

I wanted to share this in case helpful for anyone else who suffers a mishap like I did. I was carrying a black shopping bag on the crook of my arm and my white CF on my shoulder and the shopping bag rubbed off my white CF and the black transferred onto it.



I was sure that it was ruined but I passed by a cobbler and bag repair place on the way home in the hope that they might have something that would help. Well ladies let me share with you this wonder product …



It took the mark right off and my bag is good as new. Such an incredible relief when it worked! If you do get it make sure to dilute it first. The result …

Nice! Congrats! I may go towards vintage white bags as well but personally I like champagne color hardware as i feel it is more versatile.
