Which scarf/pointu/pochette are you wearing today?

TY very much. I thought of you as I was doing COLOR. I was trying to channel my inner Baga but I am not sure the force was with me.
TY lanit. I think Carnaval is one of those scarves where everything aligned. H heavily promoted it, used it in the ads that yr, offered many cws, many of them very inventive combinations and of course we went crazy over them. The theme, the jacquard, the contrasting hem. Everything worked.
I love this scarf on you, Sparkle. I think its a great signature scarf.
I am not sure which you would consider the rarer cws. I think u see all the cws eventually on ebay since it's been issued 4 times so there is enough to go around, unlike other designs. My dark green cw is not seen on HSCI actually which has many of the cws.
I do have the GM shawl. It was printed in the 90s so I guess I could show it. The mask border is magnifique; such a pity H never issued it again when they must have put in all that work to adapt the design.
I agree with lanit that the black Bateaux is a great neutral. I am still thinking of getting it myself, pending the fall showing.

seton's 90s jacquard bi-week
so I will start with a staple in any 90s power collector's wardrobe: Carnaval de Venise, of course. I haz 6, so why am I only showing 2? well 2 are cashmere (no jacquard) and 2 are Fetes de Venitiennes. The name change occured in the early 2000s so I consider it an ought.
pic came out bad. the border on this is dark green, not black. I dont love Halloween THAT much.

Lanit . You've given me a new quest ! I do love Bateaux but I'm not acquiring more cashmeres or 90s just yet . I 'm dead set on a Summer Silk .
In fact it was the Klein Equateur GM silk that I tried and it was indeed a no-no ,
it just looked so gorgeous but that particular blue is not flattering for me.
Shame , as I was getting adventurous with blue .But I know my limitations LOL

THAT is so shocking, LadyB! I love love Casques. True, I resisted it because it's similar to some old ones I have, but when I saw the blue one, I couldn't resist... and I wore it today. I hadn't noticed the cross before, but did see it this morning (yes, I need glasses ...perfect for Easter I, like SparkleLisa, love the helmets and the plumes and now the different corners....and I really like the color of gold that H used -- just the right amount of pop!
So often, it's my smart SA who gentles me into seeing the beauty of these scarves...otherwise, I'd miss it! Congrats on the 3 and I salute your choices (couldn't resisit
I totally get the color over design preference! In December I bought three Casques et Plumes (sorry for the poor spelling!) based on the color combos alone! I do like the ring of horses (and most definitely the leopard spots!) but the helmets with plumes isn't my bag at all. I like the plumes because of the feather aspect, but not so much the helmets! When tied, I love the design, though. With all of that said, I have to say it is the magic of Hermes to make something we may not initially be attracted to, so desirable! Go figure!

BridesdeGala, Don't get me wrong...I do like the design, it is just when I saw it on Hermes.com before purchasing them from my Hermes store, I was not that impressed. I have to say that seeing it IRL (and all of the modeling posts) made all the difference for me. Most of the designs in my collection are contemporary, so it is interesting to me that I fell for a classic design. I know that it is the colors that attracted me first, then the overall design.
